New guitar - May 20

In May last year, I got a new guitar. It wasn't a 12 or 6 string but one I´ve been wanting. It's called a bajo quinto and it has 10 strings and is mainly used for Mexican music. I want to learn a new instrument so I was looking some up and it was one of the cheapest ones I found. It was cheap because the store it was at was closing down so it was on sale. A couple of weeks went by and we finally went to the store and bought it. I had no clue how to play it but as soon as I got home I started to look up tutorials on how to play it. Within the first hour, I learned one song and then after that song, I began to learn all the cords and everything else I needed to play. It was an easy instrument especially to guess what cords you have to use in a song. I would practice by myself and just listen to music with the same instrument and I started to play along with it and I got the hang of it fast. I want to start and play in a group with the bajo quinto, accordion, bass, and drums but it's kind of hard to find an accordion and drum player so I have to wait and see if I find any players to start a group.

Birthday Party - June 8

This was the day of my 15th birthday party. It was one of my favorite things that happened last year. My parents and I were planning this party for like 2 years, we had got the music so we just had to worry about the food and the decoration but I wasn´t anything big so it was just regular colors. I started inviting and telling people in November and by like March everyone I knew were invited. So once the day was almost there we had to start to buy everything like the drinks, food, candies and plates, spoons, forks, cups, and napkins. My uncles helped my dad and I set up the night before, some of them bought beer and others just bought regular drinks. So we finished unloading the things then we didn't want to do everything the next morning so we started to put the drinks in the ice chest and set up all the tables. Inside my mom was just cleaning the house and my tia was helping her and after we finished all of that we all just went to sleep. The next morning was the day of the party, by the time I woke up my family was already outside setting up the centerpieces for the table and the candy table, one of my dad's friends was making the food there so he was doing that at the same time. After we were done I started to text some friends to make sure they were coming, most of them came but some didn't because they didn´t have a ride or they had other things to do. After I got ready 3 of my friends got to my house them so we just stayed in my room but after 30 minutes more came so we went outside to sit at one of the tables. More people kept arriving then like at 5:30 the music got there so they were setting up but at the same time I was talking to some of them and they all told me happy birthday. After they finished setting up they were going to start playing las mananitas for me so I began to dance with my mom and dad then they just started to play for the first hour. By that time everyone had eaten and all my friends were there so I was enjoying my party. Before they started to play they showed me a song so that I could play with them so I tried to learn it and I kind of got it so later on at the party they started to call me and I didn't want to do it but everyone was looking at me and saying my name so I went up. I began to play and I was nervous I didn't really know how to play it but I kind of got it so after I had finished everyone was clapping and yelling at me for playing. After that I was just enjoying my party listening to the music and talking to my friends

My Niece was born-July 7th

This was the day my neice was born. My sister was at the hospital for 2 days and my parents would go visit her to check up on her. That same night me and my older brother and I went to 2 parties one all the way in Jurupa Valley which was boring because it was just his co-workers from his job and it was only 7 people. After a bit we decided to leave and go to one of his ex-coworker's party in Ontario. Once we got there, we sat down with people my brother knew and we all just started talking and eating. After a bit the birthday girl came outside and said hi to me and my brother. After a bit the banda came and it was a surprise so no one knew about it. After a couple of hours, me and my brother were just chilling and talking then my mom texted me saying my sister was about to have the baby. We stayed for another 30 minutes then my mom called us saying the baby was born, so me and my brother said bye to everyone then left to the hospital. On the way to the hospital we were just talking about the baby, once we got there we had to check in and show the lady our ids. Once we showed them we went to my sisters room and finally met the baby. My parents left but my sister and her bf were still there and they haven't ate so me and my brother went to buy them food and once we got back we stayed for a bit then left and went home

Edicion Especial Concert- October 5th

This day we went to a concert. I asked my parents months before if we could buy tickets and go but all they said was maybe. Once the day got closer I accepted the fact that they were gonna buy the tickets so I didn't really mind it. One day I was at school and I had a missed call from my mom and messages from my siblings saying my mom won tickets. Once I had service I saw the video my brother sent me and it was my mom on the phone with a radio station. Then after a bit I called my mom and she was so happy because she won tickets. She got them because she called a radio station that was giving away two free tickets to the same concert so she called once and she didn't know the phrase she had to say, so she called again after hearing what she had to say and won the tickets. Once I got home I was happy because I was gonna go see one of my favorite music groups. We told my dad about getting the tickets and he was happy because he knew how bad I wanted to go. Once it was the day of the concert my mom didn't want my dad to not go so we went online to see if there was more tickets and there was so we bought one. When we went to buy it there was no single ones so we had to buy 2 so we didn't know who to tell so I asked my friend if he wanted to go with us and he said yes. Once he got to my house we left to the Toyota arena in Ontario, there wasn't really a lot of traffic but there was a good amount people but we got into the arena really quick. When we got in it was really packed so before we went to sit down my parents bought their drinks and me and my cousin sodas, after that we went to go look for our seats and just waited for the group to come out.Once they came out everyone started to yell and once they started to play their music everyone started to sing. Once it was over we went to go eat and then we went home.

Newest Guitar-December 1st

This was the newest guitar I got. I´ve been wanting it ever since I start the group with my friends. I have another 12 string but this one is a different and better brand than the one I already had. I told my dad that was the only christmas present I wanted and he said ok and he´ll see when he gets it for me. One day I was with my friends but once I got home my mom told me my dad wanted to take me to the store all the way in LA and I said if we can go a different day and they both said yea. So that same weekend we went to the store in LA to go see if they had it and they did. Once we got there I started to look for it but I also started to look at the other instruments because I liked them. I was also looking at all the mixers and speakers for my group and they were all really expensive but really good brands. After I decided on what guitar I wanted I kept looking around while my parents were paying for the guitar. They decided to pay in payments and also signed up for the business and got approved for a card so now I was able to buy cables and picks. Once we left the store I was excited to get home and start playing it. Once I got home I started to play it I liked it bu the only thing was that it wasn't doubled string so I didn't play it a lot when I first got it I had to wait till I changed the strings to start playing it more. Once I changed the string it was the guitar I started to use the most.
