I think the earthquake of Turkey represent the year 2023 the best because it was a shocking event that happened and stun the world. People around the world donate items to Turkey, as well as having people to rescue people who are stuck underground, including Taiwan. I think the event that is missing is that the WHO decided to officially declared the end of the COVID-19 pandemic.

If I'm to make a year in picture, I would include the pictures during summer, as well as some from the winter break.

This is a photo taken after a Russian airstrike has taken place at Ukraine. Several people either died or got trapped in the buildings. I personally think that this photo best represents the year since this year everything is full of Chaos with all of the wars going on and the rise of the just stop oil organization. This also greatly represents the tension between countries right now such as the Taiwan and Chinese relationship. Personally i can't seem to find any photo of events that are missing. Since i didn't really go into detail on all of the things that are going around in the world I mainly focused on the wars.

I think this picture can represent 2023. In 2023, many conflicts happened between different people, communities, nations, religions, cultures, and countries. However, these conflicts between humans mostly affect the nature. For example, the Ukraine-Russia war, the Israel-Pakisten war, the civil war of Mynmar, and the civil war of Sudan, these wars all made negative impact to the nature. I think some of the event are missing, such as wars in Africa, but mostly include in these pictures. If I am doing the photo of this year for me, I will have a picture about winter.

This image is about the current environment of Ukraine, the reason I chose this image is because the Russia and Ukraine war is very popular, and this event affects lots of people and countries. Many people died during this war and it represents 2023 because is the most current war in the historical. This image stood out the most to me because it's confusing to see an old man wrapping himself without showing his body. It best presented 2023 because there are many disasters such as war and climate problems this year, causing many people to live in terrible situations. However, I think this list ignored many positive events such as the WBC baseball cup. If I were to make a list of pictures in the year, I would definitely include the image of Caden having plaster on his hand.

My most memorable moment in 2023 was Bakhmut. This spring, literally every news story talked about this deadliest battle since the beginning of the history of the war. I was scared to look at the losses on both sides. I was puzzled by the fact that “What is the point of this war?” I would really like this war to end as soon as possible and for peace to come. But, seeing how the situation is heating up all the time, I think that the end will be near.

This picture stood out me. The reason is because that it gave me a horror feeling. Others war pictures were kind of same and wasn't attractive to me, but this picture was only blood and no people and that was the reason that I chose this.

The Ukraine war picture is the best to represent 2023 because it is the biggest thing that happened in 2023.

I think they are missing some Christmas pictures.

This image stand out to me is because of that I can't imagine what Ukrainian war front lines look like, but now I can.

This image is about the war of Ukrainian and Russia, and this is the only thing that I can remember in 2023.

I think the event's that I didn't see is the population of india become the top 1 of the world.

Year picture of my own life would be the first time I went on airplane in 2023.
