It utilises an interactive simulation to explore how the code embedded in DNA is translated into a protein, modelling DNA transcription and mRNA translation. Since clouds can change rapidly, scientists need frequent observations from citizen scientists.&nbsp;<br><br>GLOBE Observer uses a mobile app to gather data, and would be an excellent way to explore scientific data gathering practices by integrating technology into the classroom. </div>]]></description>

These include simulations of rising sea levels, wildlife interactions in the Serengeti. These simulations could easily be the basis of a digital learning activity in junior science.</div>]]></description>
