The annual Pride community parade is one ofthe most colourful and exciting visual events with over 250,000 people participating and watching the spectacle. Our theme this year is 'Carnival of diversity'. 2015's Carnival of Diversity encompasses everything that has become iconic about the diverse, creative and open-minded community that makes Brighton internationally famous. The parade is the best message of support for Pride and the message of equality and diversity.

The Cardiff Big Weekend has taken place anually since 1995 as part of the Cardiff festival by Cardiff Council . In this city there is the UK" s biggest free outdoor music festival, it offers three days of quality live music and entertainment. Alongside the live music stage runs the UK"s largest travelling funfair around the Cardiff"s Civic Centre. Each night comes to a close with a firework final. There is always an eclectic line of up and coming artists, world music and established artists , and traditionally the Friday night has always had a strong presence of Welsh bands.

Strawberry fair is a local festival of music, entertainments, arts and crafts, which has been held in Cambridge since 1974. It is open to the public and free and totally independent from any council-run events. It takes place on the first Saturday in June.

From humble beginnings, Strawberry Fair has grown to be the most popular free, entirely volunteer run, one day music and arts event in Cambridge, attracting over 30 000 visitors troughout the day.

The Cambridge Beer Festival was first held in 1974. This festival is the branch's largest and its main beer festival. During its long run, the festival has had several homes but since 2001 has been held on Jesus Green in late May.

The festival is the United Kingdom's longest running CAMRA beer festival nd currently the second largest regional beer festival. The festival features a wide range of local and national beers of all styles. The festival is also famous for its CAMRA Cheese Counter, where a very wide range of fine cheeses, together with locally produced bread, pork, pies, ham and other savoury items are available. The festival is organised and run by unpaid volunteers.
