Johannes Gutenberg was a German inventor, and his most notable invention was the printing press. With this, he printed his version of the Bible, which he named the "Gutenberg Bible." His birth date is unknown but estimated to be between 1393 and 1406, and he died in 1468. Johannes was also skilled in bookmaking and blacksmithing. His most remarkable contribution to the Renaissance is undoubtedly the invention of the printing press. This is because the printing press revolutionized the world, making information easily accessible for anybody who could read and have money.

Nicholas Copernicus

Nicholas Copernicus was born in 1473 and died in 1543. He was a Polish mathematician and astronomer who created a model of the universe that placed the sun at the center instead of the Earth, which directly contradicted the Church's teachings at the time. While Nicholas didn't make any notable physical inventions, his theories revolutionized the world as we know it today. He contributed immensely to the Renaissance by going against the Church's beliefs and making and proving his own theories.

Galileo

Galileo was an Italian astronomer, physicist, and engineer who lived from 1564 to 1642. One of his most impressive inventions was the telescope. He was known for discovery, as he found that there were moons orbiting other planets, which disagreed with the astronomy principles of the time. He contributed to the Renaissance by creating his own principles that denied all of the natural laws of his time, which showed immense humanism.

Johannes Kepler

He was a key part of the scientific revolution, most notably creating the laws of planetary motion. He also contributed by writing many books and creating theories to explain things that nobody could before.

Francis Bacon
