In the 6th century ,the Eastern Roman Empire, also known as the Byzantine Empire, set out to reconquer part of the Western Empire&nbsp; and keep the Roman legacy alive. Over time it was Hellenised: Greek becme the oficial language, and it adopted Eastern political and cultural practices tat differed from Roman culture.</div>]]></description>

The main ones were the Caroligian Empire and the Visigothic Kingdom. Most people field the cities and came to depend on large agricultural landowners . This paved the way for feudalism. The most important Germanic Kingdoms were: THE VISIGOTHS AND SUEVI (In the Iberian Peninsula), THE FRANKS (France, Roman Gaul), THE OSTROGOTHS/Lombards (Italian Peninsula) and THE ANGLES AND SAXONS (Britain).</div>]]></description>

Its followers,called Muslims, were called to spread the new faith. Arab Muslim forces conquered vast territories and built imperial structures over time.Military conquest spread Islam throughout the Middle East and Africa, forming a large empire that controlled the Mediterranean's entire southern coast, most of the Iberian Peninsula (8th century) and eventually the Byzantine Empire.</div>]]></description>
