I'm a Yankee who was born and raised in Watertown, NY. I am amazed, daily, at how many idioms the south uses! My favorite, "She can talk the horns off that billy goat."
I previously taught fourth grade for 5 years and fifth grade for 6 years at Union Elementary. I was blessed to move onto Abney Elementary where I landed a job as an elementary STEM teacher! So excited to be part of the TLCC group. I can't wait to bring what I learn back to the classroom!

I am a Band Director's wife, a mother to Isaiah (6 years old, 1st grade), and a I also have two fur babies. We are a Disney family because we love all things Disney. We are also a Lego family, but not by choice. Our son loves Legos.

I have experience teaching 8th grade, 6th grade, 5th grade, 2nd grade, and 3-5 EIP. Second grade is where my heart is. I am looking forward to learning even more than I did last year in TechEds. I am honored to be a part of the TLCC this year

Roberts Elementary 3rd Grade

As I enter my 20th year teaching, it's time to try new things! I am originally from western PA, where I attended Slippery Rock University. My first nine years were spent teaching students with specials needs. I then transitioned into the third grade position I am in now. I'm finishing up my EdS in Instructional Technology (graduating in December - woo hoo!) from UWG.
My husband and I love traveling the world and experiencing new cultures. We also love spoiling our furbaby, our 5-month-old kitten, Mia Bella. I am also a big Braves fan, as seen in my picture with Sid Bream!

This is my fourth year in 3rd grade at Panter Elementary and I absolutely LOVE it! I previously taught Pre-K for 4 years and have so enjoyed having students that can wipe their own noses (sometimes!).
I have a 1st grader named Silas, twin 2 year olds named Hannah and Hadassah, and we just welcomed 3 crazy boys into our household, Nathan (11), Taylor (10) and Chris (15). So our house is super busy all the time! I am a Youth Director/Cop's wife and baseball mom!
