There are many different guides and pamphlets that can be used for this project to help with identifying animal tracks or any other animal signs around the area. I think this is a great way for children to learn about anatomy and is great for practicing precise hand movements as the bones are being extracted from the pellet. I would definitely have the children work in groups for this activity because some children may be uncomfortable handling the pellets. I thought it was very interesting and it was also a good experience making our own, once I got the hang of it.
