There is a significantly large number of people that do not have sufficient funds to pay for college. This often means that they’ll have to settle for low-end jobs, or in some situations unemployment. This is ultimately bad for the economy because it would lead to deflation in the workforce, which is what drives our economy forward. A solution to this would be to decrease the cost of college level-education so that more people can be trained into a skilled workforce and apply for specialized jobs.

In allowing children to have access to violent games, we are only promoting violent behavior. Typically, when children are introduced to violence at a young age, they tend to both internalize and externalize it, and this can often manifest into adulthood.

Take the e-cigarette industry for example. It is illegal for vapes and other smoking devices to be sold to those under the age of 18, but teens find ways to get a hold of them anyway. When people want something, they always seem to find a way to get it.  As unfortunate as it sounds, video games are a big part of many teen's lives. Whether there is a ban or not, teens will find ways to access the games they want. There isn't enough evidence to promote the decision of a ban either, as many studies have been conducted on the correlation between violent behavior and violent video games, but the research has shown mixed results. Some studies have shown a strong influence that violent games have on children, but others have found none. (Teresa T)
