It is easy to use and play around with, but I was unsure on how to use some features. It was like a watered down version of Photoshop.

For Pixlr Express, I used a picture of two snails and added a burnt filter.

The program was okay. I feel like it didn't have many options to choose from, and it was a little confusing to move around. Overall, it is so easy to use, but not many options.

For my personal picture in photoshop, I used my sisters dog, Krypto. I brightened the original picture, then moved his silhouette to a random picture of a microphone.

I really like photoshop. It was difficult at first, but once I figured out where everything is, and how it worked, it got easier. One of the difficult things I encountered was the lasso tool. You have to have a steady hand and a whole lot of patience to cut something out.

I chose Garfield to recreate. In photoshop, the black lines were difficult to color in, but that was my fault. I didn't make the lines bigger so the program didn't realize they were there. The color was easy to match because of the color scale that the program uses. This was my favorite part of the project.

For my room layout, I went into illustrator. I really liked illustrator but only if I had the tablet to use. The program is really touchy. After I had the tablet, it was simple to create all the shapes and effects that is in my room layout. I like using the pen tool because I was able to create different things that I didn't know I could create on a computer.

The image editing tools and programs are scary at first. You have to experiment and figure out how to use everything. Once you get the hang of each program, it gets easier and fun to use. I had some challenges with this project. While doing my personal image editing, I messed up cutting Krypto out about 7 times. I kept getting frustrated. When I finally cut him out successfully, it was kind of funny to see him in front of the microphone. I found it really neat to see what I could do with everything, even if they don't look to good.
