What are people's attitudes towards civil rights/racial discrimination during this time period? Base your answer on the following quote
People at that time were extremely racist. Usually white people didn't want any kind of interaction with African american people. it was like white people had the first rights and Africans were left behind. people didn't know how to react to this situation because it was the first time something like this had happened.
What are the major implications of having Gale and Brian board in the same room?
Something like this had never happened before. Gale was the first African american that joined a major football team. Many "white people' didn't agree with this situation.

4 things you found interesting on your racial discrimination research.
1 higher order thinking question
Due at the end of class

I learned that Jim Crow law touched every part of life. Many industries wouldn't hire black people. Also black people were not allowed to use the same phone booths that white people use. Each race had to use their own. In North Carolina, white and black students weren't allowed to share the same textbooks. In Florida, they weren't even allowed to be stored together. The klu klux klan group would use venom and violence to keep blacks in their "place".
What factor would you change if you were born in the 1920's and as an adult you were being discriminated in such way?
