the silk road connected china with europe for more than 1,500 hundred years and was used for traders. the silk road was 5592.341 miles long and started about 2,100 years ago. they would also barter silk for horses. there was more than 1 silk road it could cause people smallpox and measles because of the long distance. Girls in ancient china didn't go to school because they were expected to be mothers and housekeepers only. schools would also last almost a full day and with 45 minute long classes with more flexible schedules. it also has the oldest school called shishi high school. they're where many classes in ancient china like noble, farmers, merchants and more. and they would have excessive amount of homework each day I think and were expected to pass. In ancient china times there were state schools and village schools. they would start school at the age of six. and school time is 7am to 10pm. and high school was harder than college I'm saying college had more freedom than they had in high school. and china for example math in China sets high standards for math and other classes and I'm sure this was in ancient china as well. There is no link I got this from google.

women couldn't go to school because they are expected to just be housekeepers and where restricted from going into various realms of social life they were meant to stay indoors. They were also not taught anything except from their family but the boys were and I'm pretty sure or maybe not they would have to accept divorce and if there cheating the women can't break up correct me if I'm wrong which is super wrong and I'm sure they had to marry the husband if he said so.

did you know two monks managed to smuggle silkworm eggs out of the country and they were sent to steal them by the byzantine emperor justinian and was hidden inside a bamboo pole. silkworms are illegal to export which produce fibers required to make fabric. the god of the silk worms is canshen and anyone who tried to take them out of the country would be executed if I'm correct here is a website that is good but I didn't use https://mansfieldct-history.org/history-of-silk-production/
