Dear Fifth Grade Graduates,

I will miss you, your smiles, your questions, and your willingness to help build our school community. I will miss your hugs, bright eyes, the times that you shared secret thoughts, and tears, that you felt comfortable sharing with me. I miss walking down the hall with you, showtime at the Apollo, or just sitting on the playground talking with you. I will miss sitting in circles, answering the letters that you slid under my door, and planning events with you.

And while those times together have passed, your future will allow you to continue to smile, ask questions, and build community in other places with other people. It's hard to find the words to say to you, so while I am writing these words, I am sending my heartfelt love, positive thoughts, and prayers that I hope that you can feel.

I want you to know that the paths you will take can only happen one step at a time, so there is no need to rush. Remember to surround yourself with positive people and friends.

Please work hard in everything that you do and never let anyone discourage you. And remember that you can achieve whatever you strive for and believe in, while working hard to discover the unique gifts that are inside of you. Always stand tall, hold your head up, and walk boldly with confidence.

Lastly, I am sure that we will meet again, somewhere, someday. So, until we meet again, stand tall, fly high and dive deep for all of the world is at your feet.

Congratulations to my fellow graduates! It’s been fun getting to know and learn with you all! Thank you to all my teachers and everyone who took care of me through my years of attending Reach! Mr. Gary thank you for your hard work and dedication towards my daughters education during her last year at Reach especially during this pandemic! Hi everyone I am so excited and happy for all of you graduating this year! It has been so much fun to see your growth during garden class. I am so happy that I got to teach so many lovely, bright students this year. From cooking root salad to learning about worms. We had too much fun.
