The war is terrible. I am a veterinary corp for injured horses. I hope I find Joey. Do you think I’ll find Joey in the veterinary corp?

Me and my chums are fine as wine mother. But I hope you do not come here - you wanna know why? Because you will have a fit of how muddy and messy it is.

Guess what? We have to eat out of our helmets, and if we are lucky we get a biscuit and apple juice for breakfast. But if we are not lucky we get this sloppy brown thing that is disgusting and we have to eat it out of our helmet's.

In the morning there are flies everywhere and in the night, you won’t believe it there are rats in the night! How crazy is that!?

I would recommend The Good Thieves to whoever likes adventure books.

The story is about a girl named Vita who comes to New York city to visit her grandfather. And she when she finds out that a emerald necklace was hidden in his house and her granfathers house was illegally taken from him by a spiteful man named Victor Sorrortore, Vita is determined to take both of them back. In order to make the plan work, she makes a team with spectacular yet unique talents. But trying to steal back an old castle and an emerald necklace guarded by a vicious Mr Sorrortore and his armed men isn't as easy as you think...

Alphabet 

 The Greeks developed their alphabet by the Phoenicians ,adding some of their own letters. The Greek alphabet has been used to write the Greek language since the late 9th or early 8th century. The Greek and Latin alphabet are very closely related with lots of letters looking the same , but the Greek alphabet was the first alphabet to use vowels. Although the letters might look the same to Latins they do not sound the same. The first Ancient Greek alphabet didn't have lower and uppercase letters , this was developed later on.  

The yo-yo

The yo-yo was in fact made by the ancient Greeks in the year 400- 500 BC. Which is also the second toy ever made in the world! These could be made out of wood, metal or painted terra cotta disks. Due to the fragile nature of the material , it is presumed that the disks made of terracotta (clay) were used for this purpose rather than for actual play.

Hansel and Gretel

It was a sunny Sunday when Hansel and Gretel were going on a picnic with their family in the forest. And their family had GONE they didn't notice until they were about to finish  the sandwiches that they already had in their hand. Apparently, they had left breadcrumbs so they knew the way that they came and that they came across a candy witch that was trying to kill them so thought it was ok to kill her. For all I know this could be true but the evidence shows different. 

The oven had flesh and burnt but too much for 2 little kids. So eventually the kids found their family but now they're in court from lying to now eventually telling the truth, that they did cook her but are still saying that she tried to kill them. No believable evidence yet. Will update you soon.

Instructions:

First, cut the half of a cucumber into slices and then cut the slices into quarters. Next, cut the tomato into small pieces but make sure that they are not too small. After that, peel the onion and cut it into small cubes. Once all the vegetables are chopped, put them into a bowl and mix the salad. Sqeeze the lime slice over the salad so that the juice is in it. Finish with salt and pepper and mix one more time. After that, serve and enjoy!

Once upon a time there was a little girl bringing poison apple pie to make her grandma fall asleep so she could steal from her. What she did not know was that the wolf was right behind her knowing what she was doing and trying to stop her. The wolf was able to get to the house before her so he told her grandma what little red riding hood was doing so he hid little red riding hoods grandma in the wardrobe. The wolf dressed up like her grandma so he would get poisoned and her grandma could stop her from what she was doing. The little girl came to the house and gave her grandma (who was really the wolf) the apples and the wolf pretended to eat the apple and faked falling asleep. Once the girl saw she was asleep the girl smirked and went to take her stuff but before she could her grandma came in and called the police to arrest her.

War is not the best place to be but it is better today because we got a cookie each. Today, right now i am in my trench, I was a bit surprised when the letter with all of the pictures got over to me since I moved trenches not long ago. Anyway, how are you doing? I heard my sister already got on a train far away. I know that it is hard for all your children to be far away but I promise I will try my hardest to be home for Christmas. Don't worry about me too much I have my mate over here with me. The only down side is I have to pick up all the dead bodies and take them to no mans land.

In the trenches it has been awful, flies and rats everywhere crawling around my legs and arms. I’ve been curious to know if you’re okay, I’m also worried about trench foot. One of my mates has had it before and trust me I’m pretty sure it’s bad, you wouldn’t want it either. The Jerry's have been shooting at us nonstop 24/7 with their machine guns. I’m surprised that I’m still alive, we have way worse guns than the Jerry’s we have. I am feeling alright right now. I hate the trenches because of a particular reason. I just don’t know what. I’ll tell you right now those Jerry’s are some fine enemies. It’s just like they never give up. We keep trying but they don’t stop trying. I don’t blame them because they’re trying to protect their country. Anyways I better go now to shoot at those Jerrys. I will love you as always,

Dear my beloved Mother,

I was surprised that I actually received your letter, because just recently I got assigned to a different horse in a new stable in a whole different part of France.

Your letter reminded me of our Joey before Father sold him to the Army to help with the war(I'm still angry at him for doing that). The war has killed so many innocent people that don't deserve to die. Also, do you think that I would find Joey in the Veterinary Corps, because whenever I tell people that either I will find Joey or he will find me people just laugh and tell me that he's probably dead like a lot of the other horses. I know Joey when I see him he's one of a kind. He's got four white socks ( like most horses),a red under belly in the sunset and a white cross on his forehead.

Me and the lads are as fine as wine and the horses are ok. If you were here muvva you'd have a fit! It's despicable, there's not a single time of day when it's actually a bit tidy, because during the day there's flies everywhere, no matter where you are and in the night there are rats crawling all over the floor trying to crawl into your boots to get you trench foot.

Anyway, I better sign off now lots more horses to look after are coming in now don't worry I still remain your ever-loving son.

Joey has been sick lately but he ended up lifting his head up, trust me his fine, I'm fine.

War has been chaotic lately but will soon end soon. Since Joey has lifted his head he has recovered and is nice and thriving.

Don't worry mum war will be over by Christmas and i will be safe and sound.

On Wednesday 19th February

2025, Amna & her family

decided not to stay at home some

and go somewhere but they

didn't want to over do it,so

they just went to the park the,

park was very big and also had

woods next to it if you wanted

to go exploring. Amna wanted to

do both so she she spent some time in the

park and spent some time

exploring.after that they went

to go eat some chicken and chips.

Amna said that she enjoyed the

experience because she got

to express her inner self

upfront of her family.

Her cousin who is 2 years

younger than her said, "I

enjoyed the time I spent with

Amna since we don't get to see

each other often" It wasn't

much but they enjoyed it and it was home

better than staying at home.

My favorite character is Paddington Bear. He is a brown bear who wears a blue coat and a red hat.

He came from Peru and he is very friendly. Paddington loves marmalade, and sometimes he makes a mess when he tries to do things, but he always tries his best.
