At 8 months old, I was already calling out to my mom and dad. There were dogs in the house where we lived, and my dad didn't like me crawling so much, so I spent most of my time in a walker. At 10 months old, I didn't like it anymore and started walking.

My parents bought the lot where they built the house where we currently live. At 2 years old, I was playing hide-and-seek with my friends from the block, and I hid in a lot where there were some pipes. My parents looked for me all over the neighborhood, and when they saw me at the store, When I was 3, I had a party where I fell and hurt my left hand, which I still have the scar from. At 4, I started kindergarten, where I loved going and my sister Lizeth always took me. I've always liked helping others. At that time, I had a classmate who has a disability. One day, he felt ill, and I offered to take him home since he lived across the street. His mom gave me an orange. One very normal day, my teacher had a heart attack while she was babysitting us all. At that moment, my sister Lizeth was doing social hours at kindergarten, and she was the one who called the ambulance and sent us all home. A few days later, the funeral took place, and the children were crying a lot. When I was 5, my best friends from the block moved to Villavicencio, and I never saw them again. During that time, I entered transition school at the Escuela Normal Superior de Acacias, where I am currently studying. At 6 years old, I accompanied my mother to a dressmaking class, where I was always the model because I was the only girl in the class. At 9 years old, I traveled with my family to Santander to meet my paternal grandmother, where I saw many places like rivers, people, parks, churches, and more.

In 2020, I graduated with a pedagogical bachelor's degree from the Escuela Normal Superior de Acacias. In 2021, I began studying the complementary training program and began to study teaching. In 2022, I graduated as an elementary school teacher. In 2023, I began my career as a teacher with the Diocese of Granada, where I worked as a rural teacher in Puerto Cachicamo in San José del Guaviare, where I worked all year. Since 2024, I have been working as an early childhood education teacher at a private school in Acacias. I am currently in the fourth semester of my bachelor's degree in foreign languages ​​with an emphasis on English. I'm interested in becoming a great language teacher. I'm deeply passionate about psychology and its related methods for viewing children, adolescents, and adults. I long to earn a doctorate in foreign languages ​​and psychology. I'm deeply interested in Greek mythology and everything related to it. I long to one day explore the world and its wonders.

I firmly believe that learning English goes beyond memorizing grammar rules; it's about developing skills to communicate confidently, understand other cultures, and broaden personal and professional horizons.

My strengths include creativity in designing dynamic activities, the use of digital resources to enrich lessons, and close communication that builds confidence in the classroom. I strive to create an environment where mistakes are seen as an opportunity to learn and grow.

My main goal as a teacher is to develop autonomous, critical students who are confident in their ability to use English as a tool for communication and continuous learning. I strive for each student to discover their own potential and find in the language an opportunity to achieve their goals.
