The temperature, however, seems to have BPD and I struggle picking out which coat to wear to school every morning.

At least my shoes are warm.

I might ramble again, but until then bye,

Laura.

P.S. This was last week. The temperature climbed up to a whopping +7℃ and things went icy, and it’s wet and gray now. :(

Tansies are quite common in Finland and I read that they grow almost everywhere in Europe so you all might have seen them, too. Besides the fact that they look pretty, tansies can be used for many different purposes. For example, tansies are believed to have many medical qualities like the ability to heal joint pain and many other conditions. However, there is no proof for that. Another thing that you can use tansy for is dying clothes. Tansy has even been used as an insect repellant in medieval times.

We have lots of tansies where I live. Many animals use red clover as a food source. It has flowers that attract bees, butterflies and other pollinators.

Hello dear friends! I am Lambrini from Rhodes, Greece! I will talk to you about Pancratium Maritimum, which is also known as “Sand Lilly” or “Sea Daffodil ''. It grows on sandy shores and can be found in all areas of the Mediterranean. It can survive for days in places with salty water but iτ is sadly becoming endangered. Here in Rhodes, you can find lots of sand lillies on Afandou beach. This is a photo of this flower that I took during the summer on Afandou beach.

This beautiful flower is a documented prehistoric plant of the Mediterranean and appears in wall paintings in Knossos, Crete. It has medicinal uses described by Dioscorides and Theophrastos. The name pancratium is derived from Greek and means "all-strength", maritimum means "of the sea" and refers to the plant's strength to grow in dry, sandy areas. It is also believed that this plant was given to Odysseus by Hermes to protect him against Circe's magic spells. The witch-goddess Circe turns half of his men into swine after feeding them wine and cheese. Hermes (great-grandfather of Odysseus and an Olympian god) warns Odysseus about Circe and gives him the flower, which aids him in resisting Circe’s magic.

Efforts to save the breed began in 2001 by the "Phaethon" association, which succeeded in collecting and stabling the little horses, ensuring their survival, while sensitizing the local community to their plight. Though they are also known as Rhodian ponies they do not have typical pony traits, apart from their small size.

Another rarity of the island is the freshwater fish, known by its common name “Gizani”,it is a tiny fish with maximum length of approximately 10 – 12 cm, and has the reputation of a durable organism that can cope with abrupt climate changes, for instance, very low temperatures during the winter or very high during the summer. It lives for a relatively short time of about 3 years and eats different kinds of food.

It is an endangered species protected by both Greek and European legislation. The main reason for extinction is the summer drought and the scarce water that remains in the streams of Rhodes during the summer months.

Hello from Greece! We are Miranda and Alexandros, students of the music school of Rhodes. So, we are really excited for the carnival. We are going to wear costumes and have a party full of music and dance. (btw connor mcgregor forever). I'm sorry about this, my classmate is a bit crazy. Last year I got dressed as Frida Kalo. Alex was dressed as a human... Pretty boring, I know... This year I think I'm gonna get dressed as Charlie Chaplin. We can't wait to celebrate!
