1. What is creativity?
- Creativity is when a person gets out of the box and starts to come up with creative and completely new ideas for their own ideas. Then they will come up with something new or innovate their ideas

2.
（a）According to the picture, I chose a white bouquet and put it in different colors of water. Because the roots of plants absorb water, there are different colored pigments in the water, and when they absorb water, they also absorb the pigment, which leads to discoloration and turns the flower into a particular color.

(b) At least 24 hours

3.
（a）Creativity is a kind of free-thinking mode, it has no limits, not restricted, so we can use our imagination to accomplish everything, to guess to boldly verify their conjecture boldly. It helps us explore more deeply and opens up our minds because it gets out of the box. It helps us understand things better.

（b）Fun and creative experiment: Spray water in the direction of the sun to see a mini rainbow.

1. What is creativity in Science? Define in your own words.

Creativity in science is using your imagination to come up with well informed explanations based on observations and factual evidence.

2. Upload pictures of the process with description

A) Based on the photo from the internet (I don’t have flowers at home) the process is to place equal amounts of water into the test tube. Each test tube is given 10-15 drops of a different colour and the stem of the flower placed into the water. I would have done this the same way if conducting it myself at home. I also would have chosen this element because flowers drink water through the stem.

B) The process should start showing signs of colour change within a few hours but a better showing of colour change will occur after approximately 12 hours.

3. A) Two things I learned from this lecture is how to change the colours of flowers. I had seen coloured flowers at markets and always wondered how they were dyed. Another thing I learned was that creativity in science still needs to be based on facts and evidence, but use of imagination to explain the outcomes.
B) an example of scientific creativity that can be found in everyday life could be done through cooking, where you can use the exact same ingredients in a meal but just change the quantities of each ingredient for different flavour profiles.
