It is good for a general education for providing a baseline of analyzation but for the majority who are going to college it is redundant and anyone wanting to go into college should be able to starting at junior year to speed up the process and so we don't have to repeat so many classes.

I feel that there are some things that are applicable but not very many. I believe that we are in a time that we need to have problem solving skills that a lot of us are lacking. I feel that we do things to get a good grade and to meet the requirements even if we don't fully understand it.

I think that if you are set in stone on a job or trade you should be given classes that will HELP you on the way not add more things to worry about that you won't use.

I think that some things that we learn in school are important and it can teach us valuable life lessons that we can apply to different things outside of school. So yes, I do think that things I learn in school are important and somewhat relevant but, I also believe that some of the things we learn in school are unnecessary and a waste of my time.

When we get that job, we are going to need skills like multitasking and people skills, not knowing how to find the chemical formula of an element.
