Planteamiento del Problema
La parentalización es la retribución del rol que desempeñan los padres hacia uno de sus hijos, alterando la fase de desarrollo en la cual se encuentre el infante. Este fenómeno es común en familias monoparentales donde se llega a la conclusión de que la parentalización suele ser una herramienta para mantener el equilibrio en el sistema familiar (Domínguez et al, 2019). No obstante, debido a la normalización de este fenómeno, no se ha tomado en cuenta, ni se ha hecho énfasis en las consecuencias que esta puede tener consigo en el desarrollo de estos futuros adultos emergentes.
La República Dominicana no es la excepción ante la presencia de las familias monoparentales, donde la Oficina Nacional de Estadística (ONE) afirma en la Encuesta Nacional de Hogares de Propósitos Múltiples (ENHOGAR-2015) como existe más de un 40% de este tipo de familia, sin importar quien sea la persona que dirija este hogar. Por lo que estas familias son propensas a que se dé la parentalización como parte de su diario vivir, tienen que dejar a cargo del hogar a sus hijos mayores para poder realizar sus jornadas laborales.

Es común como la parentalización puede ser invisibilizada, sobre todo en la zonas más vulnerables, tales como el Sector de Invivienda (donde se localiza el Politécnico Simón Orozco), que no está exento de la existencia de este tipo de fenómeno, pero se ignora los resultados que este pueda provocarle a la vida de estos adolescentes, en los cuales se pueden mencionar: No compartir con sus iguales, impidiendo su desarrollo social, que este sea un generador de ansiedad para este al no cumplir con las expectativas y que estos se vuelvan personas codependientes.
