Some of the strengths of ENTP's are fearlessness, creativity, confidence, and adaptability.
Fearlessness: ENTP's are described as being able to hold their ground in the face of a challenge. They will not give up no matter how many times they fail. I can relate this to myself, as I am one to keep trying different solutions to a problem, even if I have been wrong in 20 different ways before.
Creativity: ENTP's are very innovative, they believe that with superior thinking, there is always a way around something, and will come up with new solutions to reach their goals. They are prone to suffering many failures, but will be very happy when they succeed. I feel that this is accurate to myself, because I have been able to find my way around problems by thinking creatively and finding new ways to approach things.
Confidence: ENTP's are generally described as not caring what others think of them, and can take criticism very well. Rather than take the criticism personally and walk away, they would prefer to show how their critics are wrong. This is incredibly accurate to me, because I always love to prove people wrong who are saying I am wrong.
Adaptability: ENTP's are often described as relaxed and "go-with-the-flow." They are not viewed as overly agreeable, but will never be one to complain if there is a change in plans. This is true to me because I am not really affected by changes in plans, and am able to remain calm when things go wrong.

Weaknesses of an ENTP

The weaknesses of an ENTP are flightiness, impracticality, breaking norms, and procrastination.
Flightiness: Due to the fact that ENTP's are constantly generating new ideas, this strength could turn into a weakness, they are prone to constantly hopping to newer and different ideas, and it can be hard for them to stay on just one path. This is true to me because I feel like I have a hard time staying focused on one thing, and will go from working on one assignment to working on another, thus forgetting to ever complete the first assignment.
Impracticality: ENTP's suffer from getting wrapped up in one task, then developing tunnel vision and losing sight of the chores in their life. This is very accurate to me because I often will begin doing something, but then get in trouble because I forgot to do very simple things like flipping over my laundry, or taking out the trash.
Breaking Norms: Another example of the strengths of an ENTP turning into their weaknesses; due to the self confidence an ENTP carries, they can often find themself in trouble with authority figures and superiors. They can be described as stubborn my people. I don't really feel that this is that accurate to me as I generally know when to stop when dealing with authority figures.
Procrastination: Because ENTP's would rather keep learning than actually start working, they often find themselves practicing poor time management, and procrastinating. This is something I have a very large problem with. I am a horrible procrastinator and usually fail to begin my assignments for a prolonged period of time.

One of the biggest things to help an ENTP succeed are sticking to one thing at a time, not jumping from topic to topic, and looking at the "small picture." ENTP's often find themself leaving one thing and going to another repeatedly, this can result in not ever getting work done, so something an ENTP can do to help fix this flaw is to keep a list of things, and go procedurally through this list, not jumping around from homework paper to Personal Preference Project. They should learn to prioritize assignments. I can relate to this flaw as I have a hard time getting things done, even during working on this project I stopped and worked on my Algebra homework. Something I have started doing is keeping a planner to help me know what to do and when. The other thing ENTP's can do to better themselves is to start focusing on the smaller details. They are constantly looking for the broad themes and wondering what the big idea is, that they fail to see the small details essential to doing something correct. They will do better to focus on smaller details and points, than to waste time looking at the big picture.

They assume that others are to focused on social norms and cannot think creatively enough to solve a problem. They will never be caught doing something the same way twice, they are bored by doing things the same way multiple times. They find normal solutions uninspired and would prefer to go their own way. I find this relatable as I am easily bored by doing the same things over and over again. I would much rather trying different solutions to the same problem until I am right.
