Helsinki is in the south of Finland, on the shores of the gulf of Finland, in the Uuimaa region, the city extends on many isles. 

The weather in Finland is characterized by long and cold winter, and short and muggy summer, the temperature remais under zero from the middle of November to the end of March.

The city is characterized by “Nordic style”, a lot of building of centre are of 900' and they have decoration inspired by nature, in other neighborhoods there are the old building in wood.

The Kristuskyrkan (church of cristo) is in the old centre of the city, near to the Parlament and to National Museum, wholly built in stone. The bell tower is high 59 m.

The Finlander Parlament is of the 1931, is made “Nordic Style”.

The Temppeliaukion Kirkko was built in1960, this is a church excavated into the rock, and it is very important for the turists.

In Helsinki there are a lot of isles connected by bridges or ferry. The isle of Suomenlinna was a island-fortress, used for defence of the city. The isle realy are is formed by a lot of islands connected by bridges. In winter, when the see is frozen we can also reach on foot.

There are a lot of natural park for example: Kaivopuisto Park, where in summer there is a festival and the people dance and drink until late.

The roads are so hot that there is never snow.

I would like to see this city because, on 2011 we host a girl of Helsinki, she was in Italy for to study, she spoke always of Helsinki and now I would like see this city.
