After studying the field, I did grow more as a professional because I became more knowledgeable and experienced on the subject and teaching in general. I realized throughout college that the more I learn about education and teaching English strategies, the more I grew to love the major of English Education. I now have a strong feeling towards teaching, and I know it's definitely something that I want to do for a good portion of my life. Being able to help students grow into their own unique person and have the confidence to take on the world drive me to be the best teacher I can be. I want my students to learn not only the subject matter and standards, but I also want them to learn life lessons, who they are, and who they want to be.
