He is kind because he made friends with the toy shop owners daughter and eventually even the toy shop owner. He is productive because he works on the clocks and the automaton. and mysterious because he hides away from everyone and has many secrets. In the book he starts as a homeless poor thief that works on clocks and machines, in the middle of the book he becomes friendly to other people and tries to fit in, and at the end he has friends, a house, a family, and a working automaton. I wasn’t confused on what was happening the entire story because of the amazing drawings and setting and story telling. Also the tension when he tries to steal the toy mouse was interesting. I also loved the chapter that tells the backstory of how he found the automaton in the abandoned museum. It was a good book and gave lots of information about the three stooges. Compared to fictional books it was neat how it told true facts about real people. I remember watching the movie made in 2012 and wondering how the actors lived long enough to be in that movie (they didn’t it was just people that looked alike) but its amazing how they were so popular even almost 100 years later. That really help you imagine the look and smell of the boxing gym. It’s not crazy or wacky similes  either, it’s subtle but easy to understand.
