I realize this is a true event, where many were negatively affected and had long lasting impacts on aboriginals and their cultures.

I realize that this is a very real thing that happened to many people and it was devastating to have their children taken with no sign of ever seeing them again. I realize that this was a real thing that happened and a real experience for people, so it makes me feel bad for them.
I question how and why people let this happen, especially because it has happened before. I realize that some can interpret eugenics purely based on skin color: Neville claimed that the "black is breeded out" after 3 generations. It should more of a meeting in the middle as opposed to forcing one side to become like the other.

I wonder how all people in Australia view this now and how much of a difference there is between how the aboriginal people view it and how the European people view it. I realize that the outcome was going to be similar no matter what, due to the mindset of people there.
