In five years I want to remember that the Standards do not need to be done one after the other. The Standards are meant to be blended together to create a natural learning experience. I feel if teachers try to use all their energy with one Standard at a time, then the other standards would not be up to standard. I feel that making the learning experience more fluid allows for the students to de-stress and fully work with the technology. When students are given active forms of technology, they will succeed in ways unimaginable compared to passive technology. I want to make sure that I only accept active forms in my classroom because I want my students to receive what they deserve. Students are agents of their own learning, and they will reach full potential of learning using active forms of technology in the classroom.

It can be very difficult if you have a large class of kids all with different learning styles, and I really liked the way the ISTE videos talked about having multiple options for assighnments that students can pick from. That way students have options and can figure out which assighnment would best fit their learning style.

One thing from the ISTE Student Standards Introduction Website that I want to remember five years from now is that learning with technology is a student-driven process, and it is always evolving. I think this is important because letting the students explore with technology and figure things out on their own helps them use critical thinking skills, become more creative, etc. So its not necessarily entirely about the specific programs we are using in technology, its also about learning to navigate them, etc.
