It's my pleasure to be teaching you Tax Policy this term.

Tax law, design and policy is my research passion. I used it as the conceptual framework for my PhD entitled Taxing Multinationals (published by Oxford University Press). I have presented my research at national and international conferences, including at Oxford University and the University of Cambridge.


Tax law and policy also underlies my engagement beyond academia. I have provided expert evidence to the House of Representatives Standing Committee on Tax and Revenue, and consultancy advice on investigations by the Inspector-General of Taxation. 

I'm also Founding Director of UNSW Tax and Business Advisory Clinic, an international award-winning platform for experiential work-integrated learning, innovative grassroots research and catalysing social impact across Australia.

I serve on industry-level committees including the Law Council of Australia's Taxation Committee, and the Tax Institute’s SME & Tax Practitioner Committee, and multiple ATO Stewardship Groups. I am former Vice President of the Australasian Tax Teachers Association, and former Deputy President of the UNSW Academic Board.
