The home that I will live in in the future is a really pretty well sized home. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One being in the master bedroom. There is also a closet in this main room as well. There is a view out to the drive way from this room. There is a hallway that lead to all of the bedrooms and to the second bathroom. Each of my kids have their own room. Both rooms have a closet and they also all have a window. The bedrooms for the kids are right next to each other. My home has a dining room, living room, an ac, a family room, backyard, and a fire place. In the front yard there is a space for kids to play the house also has a front space for around 6 cars. With a garage for space for 2 cars. The inside of the house has this door on the side to get inside which we don't use. There is also a washer and dryer area which is covered by a rolling door when not in use. The house is 0.51 acres which is 1724 squared feet. Each square foot was sold for $473. The total cost paid for the home was $815,000 which we had a down payment of $95,000. The 720,000 were paid off since we took out a loan to manage to pain it all off. The loan has a 6% interest rate. So we pay $4,200 per month to own the house in a 30 year mortgage.

I would have a car which runs on gas. I want a car which is small and doesn't go too fast. It would kind of be new. It would have really nice seats and there would be black leather seats. I don't have a specific brand in mind but I think that it would be a car with an inside similar to the Honda CR V 2023 which has a really nice inside. The gas price per month would be around 150 dollars. Which per year is around 1,800 dollars. There would be around 130 dollars per month. This is for full coverage insurance on the car. The car would be around 35,000 dollars I would pay off 10,000 dollars and take a loan for the rest. So per month I would pay around 400 dollars per month with a 3.5 percent interest so I would have paid it off in 72 months.

For food I would get a Costco membership because they have a lot of food and snacks. I personally always need a little snack and I feel like they have really good ones and lots of other really good food. The membership would be 65 dollars per year. I would buy two cases of the twenty four eggs which is 48 eggs which is 18 dollars at Costco. I would spend around 40 dollars on some snacks because sometimes I want a snack and so do my children. I would spend 50 dollars on fruit. I would buy strawberries, mango, raspberries, green apples, and tangerines. So for any other food items I would put aside 150 dollars. So overall I would be spending 258 dollars on food not including taxes. Which would then probably add 10-20 dollars so maximum I would spend 280 dollars on food per month. For my dog I would spend around 90 dollars. So including our dogs food the over all total is 370 dollars. That is not including non-edible items. I would need to get items to be able to do my laundry. So I would need softener, bleach, and laundry soap. The total for laundry stuff is around 50 dollars. I would also need to buy soap to wash dishes and sponges which comes out being around 20 dollars. So in total per month when I do groceries I would be spending around 450 including taxes.

We spend 70 dollars on the internet per month. We also pay for Netflix, Hulu, and Disney plus which all together cost around 28 dollars. This is all of the basic ones that we are paying for but this is because it is basically the same with some extra things and a higher price. I would be spending around $90 on phone lines. They would be 5G and have a hotspot included. This would be for two phones and for an apple watch which is about 10-15 dollars. This is for my son just in case of any emergencies. They won't get a phone until they're in middle school. So that's why the cost is 90 dollars for two phone lines and an apple watch line. So overall on entertainment I would be spending around 188 dollars.

My clothing is baggy jeans, jean shorts, workout clothing, 5 sets of pajamas, swim clothes, dresses, t shirts, and over sized hoodies. I will buy new clothing around every three months because I don't really need a lot of clothing since I have stopped growing. I would spend around 100 dollars on clothing for myself every four months/throughout four months so for a year I would be spending 300 dollars on my own clothing. For my daughter when she is around 8 I would start to buy her baggy jeans, sweat pants, hoodies, dresses if she wants any, and anything else that she needs. For her I wouldn't just yet start buying her very expensive clothing because she is still growing and she won't wear it that often. So for her every three months I would set aside $150. So per year I would be spending 600 dollars on clothing for her. I will also spend $150 every three months on my sons clothing. Which per year ends up being 600 dollars. So for my children it is 1,200 dollars for clothing per year. Mine is 300 dollars per year and my husbands 300 dollars per year. is also which in total per year is 1,900 dollars. So per month we would be spending around 158 dollars on clothing. Not all of the time it will be spent on all of us it will only be for some of us since we don't all need new clothing every single month.

At this point both of my kids can go to school. I would enroll them both into a public school. My daughter would be going to a public preschool and my son would be in first grade at this time. My job allows me to work from home so I can pick them up when ever is needed and can take care of them. So I wouldn't be spending any money on child care since they are at the ages of being able to go to public school which doesn't cost me anything, and when they get home I can take care of them with no problem and still be able to work and get all of the things I need to get done.

Each month I would have 100 dollars that I would be putting aside for both of my kids. They would each be getting 50 dollars per month. I would be saving this money for them until they are 18. So once they are 18 I would have around 10,800 dollars for each one of them. This money would be used for college or anything else that they might need this large amount of money for. I wouldn't put any money aside for traveling though because that would be very expensive and Not really needed. So instead I would also put 50 dollars aside for myself each months for years so I have some money in case of any emergence that occurs.

Needs VS. Wants

Looking at all of the things that I have for my future lifestyle there are some things that are more wants than needs. I want that I have is the 150 dollars that I am putting aside for any future events. It could be in case of an emergence but it isn't in this time period so I might not really need to be putting that money aside. It isn't that important but I would still put it aside because it can help with many things in the future. Another want is the 40 dollars that I am spending on any snacks for my kids. This isn't something they need but it's something that to me is important for them to have. I feel like the snacks is something that I could go without spending on. So of my need is my housing, food, child care, clothing and transportation. Those are the things that I would have to be spending my money on and those aren't something that I would be able to go without. So the monthly cost for for my needs is around 5,356 so I would be saving around 200 dollars
