John C. Calhoun is the second to most pro-slavery, because he was a strong supporter on slavery and feared that congress would make it illegal. He also thinks that it would be impossible for white people and African-Americans to live together in the same country. Calhoun also spent a lot of time debating for slavery and to convince people to defy anti-slavery laws. Although he may be a strong supporter for slavery, George Fitzhugh is an even stronger supporter because he thinks everyone should be slaves, not just African-Americans.

James Kirke Paulding is the third to most pro-slavery, because he believed that slavery should be allowed in the south to maintain order in the US, he also thinks that African-Americans were inferior to whites. Paulding wrote books and also claimed that the Bible and the Constitution protected slavery. However, James Kirke Paudling can't compare to John C. Calhoun because Calhoun spent much of time passionately arguing about slavery and would argue more about it if people criticized slavery, while Paulding just write books.

He also wrote books and pamphlets to convince people to defend slavery.

Abraham Lincoln belongs in the neutral position because he had mixed views on slavery. He didn't support slavery nor did he oppose it. Lincoln had freed slaves himself, but he didn't want to interfere with slavery in the south but he had prohibited it from expanding to the west.

Hinton Helper is the fifth to most anti-slavery because he just wrote a book about his view on slavery but also criticized slavery because it hurt poor whites for not being able to afford them. Helper can't be compared to Garrison because William Lloyd Garrison is in the anti-slavery movement and he believes that slavery hurt black people both mentally and physically instead of just the poor white people who couldn't afford slaves.

I believe the Grimke Sisters belong in the third position from most anti-slavery, because they have wrote pamphlets to encourage southern people to stop slavery. They had usually convinced women to support the abolitionist movement using “moral quasion” as well freeing their mother's slaves she had given them. They can't really compare to Douglass because he was a slave himself that escaped to freedom. He also delivered powerful message to crowds from his own point of view since he had experience slavery, considering he was a slave.

I believe Frederick Douglass belongs in the second position from most anti-slavery, because not only was he a slave himself that escaped to freedom. He dedicated his life delivering powerful speeches to crowds of people despite being violently attacked, insulted, and heckling. Frederick Douglass also have impacted many people with his speeches and books, he also helped some slaves to be free as he was an abolitionist himself. He can't really compare to Tubman because she had risked her life saving 300 slaves, she was also considered as "the Moses of Slavery."

I believe Harriet Tubman is the most anti-slavery person because she herself had escaped slavery and dedicated to help more than 300 slaves to escape via the Underground Railroad. She used her energy and risked her life continuously trying to rescue these slaves, she also threatened slaves who wanted to go back with a gun. Harriet Tubman was often called the Moses of slaves.
