I always thought that taking pictures was a way of expressing our tastes or to make us look like we are and to be known.I don't think It's necessary nowadays to make ourselves known through selfies is dangerous as there are many abusive and bad people on the web who only seek to damage people's integrity by putting them in embarrassing situations. ----- Julihet Vega

I suprise about all information of the infographic. It's interesting that men take more selfies than women, because I think that that was the other way around. Really, I can´t beliave that men take selfies more of 14% than women. Too, I love this infographic because don't have only information for gender also for age. Besides, the rest of information is good but not so relevant. Finally, I don't take a lot of selfies but in view of the fact that the statistics say the opposite, I do it right now.

I think it's interesting that selfies have both positive and negative aspects. On the one hand, they can be a fun and creative way to express yourself and share special moments with others. but it’s such a waste of time because they can contribute to the construction of a distorted image of reality, since people often edit them to look better. Additionally, they can be a source of anxiety and comparison, as people may feel pressured to take perfect selfies. I was surprised that men take more selfies than us women, with a percentage of 64%, they are ahead.

Name: Melanie Zambonino.

I always thought that women took selfies more often. I think it is interesting that thanks to technological advances we can capture a very important moment through a photo and we have access to many other things, for example with AI we can, with a photo, see what we would look like in 50 years!!

But now I think it is too dangerous to be able to take any photo or situation that gives information about us because there are people who want to abuse the information given putting our integrity at risk.

This infographic talks a lot about the topic "selfies". What are selfies? It is a self-portrait that is taken with a camera or generally a digital camera (a cell phone), this is done to capture moments or situations in which the person finds themselves. In this infographic we mention the topic of who is more prone or has more likely to do so, it reveals that men are the ones who take the most selfies either in any situation they are in and then upload them to their personal profiles or digital platforms they manage.

I appreciate the captivating nature of photography and in my opinion do not consider it a waste of time. It is interesting to observe the different photographic habits between men and women, who are creative when taking selfies. Men's inclination to share frequently on social media contrasts with the opposite. The photogenic ones are women, which makes excessive taking of photographs by them unnecessary. I like their beauty, which is reflected in the expressions of each person, such as their true beauty, whether inside or out.

Jeniffer Zambrano :)

Selfies are very popular in society, I think it is very interesting to know that most people take selfies alone and when they are at parties, and that through them they transmit their emotions, their lives, successes and happiness. I always thought that women took selfies the most and I am surprised to know that men take 64%. But who cares about knowing the social network where selfies are published the most, if each person has their favorite social network.

The selfie or selfie (from the English selfie or selfie) is a self-portrait photograph, that is, taken by the same person who appears in it. The term generally refers to photographs of this type taken with digital cameras or cameras integrated into a cell phone, and is a practice massively adopted in times of social networks, although its invention, strictly speaking, dates from the beginnings of photography.

A selfie (from the English selfie or selfie; also adapted as selfie or self-portrait) is a self-portrait taken with a camera, generally a digital camera or a mobile phone.

A selfie is a photograph or image in which the person takes a photo of themselves usually with a mobile phone or digital camera, holding the device at arms length or using a selfie stick. Selfies have become very popular in recent years, especially on social media, as they allow people to capture special moments, show off what they look like, or simply share their life with friends and followers. They are also used to express emotions, show activities or places visited, and are often retouched with effects and filters before being uploaded to the Internet. However, some people also criticize the selfie phenomenon, arguing that it promotes narcissism and obsession with physical appearance.

Katherine Altamirano
