Fact #1: Pakistan is a federal republic with a president. There are two main parties; the Nawaz and the PPP. Voting fraud has been a recent issue, which may have affected the outcome of the recent election.

Fact #2:  There is a senate and a National Assembly. 104 senators, 342 members of Assembly. Out of those seats, 17 are for reserved for women in the Senate, and there are 60 in the Assembly.

Fact 1: Muslim is the most common religion sweeping 96% of the nation, but they are not all the same type of Muslim. Around 85% of people are Sunni Muslims and, around 10% of people are Shi's Muslims

Fact #1: Pakistan is mostly a hot, dry desert country. However, in the north there is an arctic climate, and in the Indus River Valley there is a temperate climate, that has very fertile soil. It is also divided into 3 main terrains: The Indus River plains in the center, Balochistan Plateau region in the south, and the northern highlands.

Fact #2: Pakistan has many natural disasters, but the 2 most common are floods and earthquakes. During the summer months, particulary in July and August, the Indus River floods and devastates the areas around it, and towards the highlands in the north, there are very often earthquakes that can devastate the area. The country also struggles with deforestation, soil erosion, and many more.

Fact 1: Schooling in Pakistan is free (not at private schools) for people from ages 5-16 but, the attendance is not closely monitored. This is not good, because students are missing days of learning. It also does not matter as much because the quality of the education is very low.

Fact 2: The ages and different types of schooling in Pakistan is very different than in America. In Pakistan, there is a Primary, Middle, Secondary, Higher Secondary, and Higher Education. This may seem strange becuase of all the different stages of school
