Q1 Rose has moved from Keyston District in California to the Hudson School District. The District proposes to adopt the IEP dated 04/13/16 and start a re-evaluation to better understand Rose's educational needs at this time. The District will adopt and provide the following comparable services:
- Direct Math instruction, 45 minutes per day, special education setting
- Direct Reading instruction, 60 minutes per day, special education setting
Q2 Rose has been identified with an educational label of specified learning disability. A re-evaluation will be held to determine if Rose demonstrates eligibility for special education in the state of Wisconsin and demonstrates the need for continued services.
The District proposes to adopt the current goals, objectives, and present level of performance until our evaluation is completed as this is the most current information provided on Rose's development.
The District proposes change service times but provide comparable services in the areas of Math and Reading due to the amount of minutes provided in the scheduled school day.

Q1, Q2
The district is proposing to:
-adopt the goals, objectives and present level of academic and functional performance from her current IEP from her previous district. (because based upon recent progress reports from May 2016 and anecdotal input from parents, the District determined that goals, objectives, and PLAAFP accurately reflected Rose's needs at this time.)
- continue to provide alternate testing environments with extended time on all district and statewide assessments. (because review of past test scores using the current accommodations showed progress towards specific IEP goals. Additionally, previous evaluation reports show a need for additional time on tests due to below average scores on processing speed and working memory.)
- comparable services for written language from 60 minutes daily to 45 minutes daily in a special education setting. (because recent progress reports from May 2016, shows Rose is able to independently write 2 sentences and her same age peers can write 2 paragraphs, supports a need for explicit instruction in written language in a special education setting to progress towards grade level standards and her specific IEP goal.
-comprehensive evaluation to determine eligibility for a specific learning disability based on Wisconsin eligibility criteria.
