  • According to a survey by the Association of the Physically Challenged, 46% of people with traffic accidents have serious difficulties due to their livelihood problems.
  • According to data from the Research Institute for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, 44.4% of the respondents answered that improvement of social awareness and prejudice is the most urgent problem to be solved to solve social discrimination against persons with disabilities.
  • The mandatory employment system for disabled persons is mandatory for employers who hire more than a certain number of employees in order to expand the employment opportunities of persons with disabilities.
    Employers who hire more than 50 full-time workers are obliged to hire disabled persons, and if they do not, they must pay the employment contribution for the disabled. The mandatory employment rate is 2.3% in 2010, 2.5% in 2012 and 2.7% since 2014.
