Truth. Simply put, ethics and morals make an effort to provide a basic understanding of what is acceptable and wrong in a variety of somewhat different situations.

In contrast to quantum physics, ethics and morality provide us with a generalized solution for circumstances where a great number of variables are involved.
Morality and ethics allow for the inexpensive, consistent fast food solution to problems that arise on a daily basis. They are a pseudo-truth because they are so generic, yet they represent an effort to find a quick and efficient solution, which is usually the right choice.

My goal in this course is to increase my understanding in this subject, which are obviously important in today's society and economy. And to learn more about this topic or to generate some fresh thoughts. As an aspiring business professional, this topic helps me deepen my understanding of the industry and improves my ability to communicate with others I could encounter in the industry.

When i first think of Ethics I think of a person's choices. But what truly drives their choices are their own beliefs, values, and their own set of principles that they apply in their daily lives. I also think about morality and how almost everyone has their own version of what is moral and what is not. I see Individuality coming to play a lot when we talk about ethics or morality; if we look at the bigger picture, all of us have no definitive clue which of our choices is truly right or wrong yet society follows specific "regulations" that help guide them into making their own "right" decisions. Factors that could affect this could be their religion, their environment, their experiences, their own logic, and their own feelings and emotional drives. Which is why I think of our very own choices because really ethics in an individual mind is so flexible depending on the situation a person is in and what they believe in.

I look forward into adding more insights into what I believe ethics is. I expect to learn more about the course and hopefully shape or strengthen my ideas of ethics and morality. I also hope that this would be a fun learning experience.

Ethics is like a set of rules about what's right and wrong. It helps us know how to treat each other well and make choices that are good for both ourselves and everyone around us. It's like a guide for handling tricky situations and finding the right path in our own lives and in our communities.

I think this class will probably help us understand different ideas about what's right or wrong, and how they relate to actual situations. It will likely ask us to think carefully and come up with our own thoughts about ethical problems.

The study of right and wrong comes to mind when I first hear the word ethics. As human beings, we all act differently, but it is important to know if our actions are morally acceptable and for the good of all.

I expect that this class will have fruitful and interesting discussions. I also expect that I will learn a lot from this class and be able to apply our lessons in real life situations.

There is no correct answer to human value judgment. I think ethics is talking about right and wrong about a problem that doesn't have the right answer. I think it's a subject that helps people to think about moving toward a better direction.

I hope I can talk about topics that I haven't thought about and help me become a better entrepreneur. Because I think there are things that can only be mentioned and considered in the subject ethics. If I have a chance to learn about topics and values that I can't learn in other subjects, I think there will be things I can only get at Miriam College especially in subject Ethics.
