The advantages of this page are the variety of resources it offers: radio audios, films, articles that can be downloaded, and images. It is also well organized with labes and easy to explore.

A limitation can be that the articles could be a little too complex to be used with children at primary school. Also the "themes" labes lead only to news articles or events and conferences. Therefore there is not much variety in the kind of text to work with.

It could be implemented in the classroom by using any of the page's resources to create a great variety of activities and at the same time to create awareness related to the topics of education and gender, and bullying among others.

The advantages of this web are that it offers a variety of resources such as lesson plans (classified according to the students' proficiency level), images (it has an immage bank), tips, and projects to use in class.

It also offers a great variety of resources for the teacher to improve her/his way of teaching and continue developing and studying.

This website is also well organized with articles classified according to the language skill they are about (reading, listening, pronunciation, literature).

It also contains a section with links to other websites with tools useful for teaching.

Limitations can be that this page mainly designed for the use of teachers and with suggestions on how to teach but it does no have resources the students could directly look for or consult.

There are many ways to implement this website: through the use of the lesson plans suggested; through the projects and listenings and the images and to design some activities from there.

Advantages

A positive point is that the contents of the webpage can be useful for everyone: from children at school, to young people at university, and adults.
You can learn about a truly wide variety of subjects: from improving your language skills (reading, grammar, speaking), to cars, art, religions.
The page also provides video clips and study guides for various school subjects.

Limitations

A limitation is that the page is meant for people from England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. For example, if you click on "study guides" and "interactive videoclips", the school levels you will see are "KS1", "KS2", "GCSE", etc.
Besides, the page has not been updated since 2011.
Implementation
It could be implemented in the classroom with the help of the teacher.
There are interesting videos which deal with the language of instructions, of reading for pleasure, etc. All in English but meant for a particular age.
It is also very interesting to use with CLIL. For example, "the school section" contains links to Geography, Maths, Arts, etc.
