I am in the ccsd program and I am on my second to last semester of the program.The credentials/certificates that you are working toward.

Your career goals and aspirations, work experience or the grade level, school, and district where you currently teach, intern or are completing your clinical practice, fieldwork, etc.

I am currently a stay at home mom of a year old. I used to work at an ultrasound office and optometrist office as front desk while I was pregnant and before I was a babysitter for a couple of years. I am currently deciding where I would like to do my fieldwork that starts in the fall semester.

Please describe what you currently know about your family's cultural and linguistic identities.

My moms side of the family is from Texas and Nayarit Mexico and my fathers side is from Guadalajara. We identify as hispanics and speak spanish in the house but also english and celebrate American and Mexican holidays as my mom grew up celebrating both since her father was American and mother an immigrant from Mexico. As I've become a mom it is important for us to teacher as many languages as possible so she understands and speaks both english and spanish and my sister is also teaching her sign language as she is not fluent but did study.

What was the last movie you went to see at the movies? How good/bad was it?

We went to see the Little Mermaid with my entire family (We bought a whole row) and ti was my daughters first move. She did only see the first 30 minutes (it was late) because then it was bedtime and she fell asleep in my arms. It was of course a good movie but just a whole experience different with my daughter there.

What is your biggest fear? Explain why.

I have a couple but for now my biggest fear is losing my daughter and or not being there for her as long as possible.

What is your favorite family vacation? Tell us about it.

We often go on vacations for the weekend but so far it has been going to Las Vegas for spring break back in march my daughter's second time there and seeing her walk around, in the pool, eating, playing, and seeing shows being amazed by everything was a great to give her new experiences even at a place that we've taken her to before.

What motivates you to work hard? Explain.

Family does. My parents have sacrificed and push my sisters and I so much since birth and I want to make them proud but also help and provide for them as they get older and become my responsibility. And also my small family I am creating to provide a comfortable life and for my kids to just be kids and not worry about money or where they'll live like her father and myself have experienced at times. Along with taking them to places to enjoy life and remember its not always about work its about experiencing life to the fullest no matter how small.

In the evening, would you rather play a game, visit a relative, watch a movie, read, or what else would you rather do?

After a busy day of taking care of my daughter and everything else in the house I look forward to laying down and having me time whether on my phone watching shows or shopping or some nights doing homework late
