After the surrender of General Cornwallis and his forces at the battle of Yorktown, the British began to negotiate peace with our leaders.

Take it from Billy Bob Joe who was a Continental soldier, and fought proudly for our country. "Hey there i'm Billy Bob Joe but you can call me BJ for short."
we began asking BJ questions, our first question was... why did you join the continental army? "well before I was a soldier, I was a bar owner and I brewed my own rum and lived happily in my home with my wife and 2 kids. but then the British passed the sugar acts and my business went bankrupt because I could no longer afford molasses. then the quartering acts and these nasty British troops came and lived here, they drank what ever was left of my home made rum and at that point i had it and i heard of the continental army a few years later and i joined as soon as I could. ever since then I have never left. I've been here ever since George Washington's first battalion (which I joined)." wow amazing now for our second question, How do you feel about the Treaty of Paris? "well I believe that the treaty of Paris was well needed and that its kind of dumb to repay their disastrous king but I guess that's fair. but other than that I feel that the treaty is good for the economy, and well being of this country." Thank you so much for your answers and thank you for your service.

we have a loyalist joining us today and we'll be talking about his point of view of the treaty of Paris. we will be calling him Carl for his safety we will conceal his real name. hello Carl, I have one question for you, How do you feel about the treaty of Paris? "well for starters although i'm a loyalist i still believe that the treaty of paris is good in some ways such as it stops the war and we could finally have peace, but i don't really agree that the United States should be an independent Nation, and i'm pretty angry that congress only recommended states to return my property, so pretty much I never got my stuff back
