I think the original text provides a stronger representation of the text. I feel this way because the way the monk told Santiago (the quote i used) what he said shows very well how the journey was the most important part/lesson for Santiago. It shows just how good Santiago's life already is/was but that it was important that he explored and seen more of what there is to the world/life.

“Remember that wherever your heart is, there you will find your treasure.” This quote is significant to the resolution because the resolution was Santiago's journey coming full circle when he was guided back to the church in Spain where his original dream was located. This shows that there is always a journey in order to find the true treasure.

I still think this original text provides a clearer,stronger meaning to the text. In the actual text, there is more text to evaluate and through more dialogue and explanation it is easier to interpret the text.
