I have taught AP Psych, Honors Psych and Civics. I also am a licensed school counselor. Currently I work in the front office at my boy's elementary school.

Personal - I love photography and owned my own photography business for about 7 years. This business paid for my master's degree in school counseling. Now my love of photography is used to take pictures of my two boys. Here is a picture below of my family.... this was before I cut my hair this summer. I donated 15" of my hair to "Wigs for Kids" 

Peculiar - I make quilts ... not like traditional grandma type quilts (which are totally cool too!) but fun, modern, bright colorful quilts. I have been quilting for about 7 years and make quilts of all sizes ... baby quilts all the way to large queen size quilts. Every couple of years my mom and I attend "Quilt Con" ... look it up, it's a real thing ;) We have been to Quilt Con in Nashville and Atlanta and plan on attending this spring as well. Peculiar- I have what is often referred to as an "old soul"... My friends often refer to me as the mother of my friend group, and my best friend Hannah always calls me a grandma. I enjoy doing things like crosswords and Sudoku, but I'm also very mature in most situations.

I intend on furthering my education in hopes to become a Nurse and hopefully a Family Nurse Practitioner down the road. I believe it is such a rewarding and fulfilling feeling being able to help all others when in need and I want to be the best I can be to help save or better someone's health and/or well-being.

Personal: Although I love being outgoing and a people person, I can also be a more reserved person. I love being outdoors, with family and friends, absolutely love music, reading and coloring and also really enjoy the fall and winter seasons :)

Peculiar: I like to watch anything having to do with mystery or even romance. I have been playing  the clarinet in my church choir for about 6 years now.
