The students will be given a chance to ask questions and at this time be given the consent forms to be taken home. For the the pre-group screening the counselor will use the TAP Method for screening:

The Participant Guideline/Ground Rules  will be used in order to set rules additional rules during the small group. The students will be given the opportunity to brianstorm and add any additional rules they might find beneficial to their group.

Stage 1: Students attending the group will begin with an introduction and an icebreaker activity. Group norms will be established between the participants and the counselor. Confidentiality will be addressed what we discuss in this group will remain within the group. Students will be made aware only circumstances this can change is if we feel their might me in a permanent danger to themselves or someone else then the breach will be broken. 
 
Stage 2: Counselors will provide engaging lessons and  activities. They will be given the opportunity to work together and share their thoughts with one another. The counselor will oversee the conversations and provide support when needed.

Stage 3: Closure plan will be a recap of what was learned in the six week sessions. Confidentiality will be emphasised  of "what is said in the group stays in the group". The counselor will  have a post group session in about four weeks, to see if  students are in the right track. Counselor will remind students she is always there for them.

  •  The first is Direct advice students will learn how to give and receive advice. 
  • The second factor is Altruism, students will share their experiences with the others. They will learn to receive and give.
  • The third is Interpersonal Learning students will learn how to deal with behavior, and know their strengths. Students will and learn how to make personal relationships.
