Courage is a gift that many people lack, for the few that have it, they know how to use it. Malala's Father has Courage because he stood up to the Taliban for his school and the education of females. "Please don't harm my school children, because the God you believe in is the same God they pray to everyday. You can take my life, but please don't kill my schoolchildren." (52) This shows that Malala's father is willing to give is own life for his schoolchildren. This also shows that he is defying the Taliban simply by defending his school children. In conclusion, Malala's Father shows courage by willing to give is his for his school.

Many characters in "I Am Malala" show great courage. The Female prime minster of Pakistan, Benazir Bhutto shows courage by trying to stand up against the Taliban and being a role model for woman and girls fighting for rights. The Story say"As a woman, she was a role model for girls like Me .And she was the only politician who'd had the courage to speak out against the terrorists". (Pg 54) This shows that she is brave to come into Pakistan because It is a war zone. Also because who stood up to the Taliban before had been murdered. Its sad to think that people have to live in a world where someone isn't equal to someone else and that they have to fight to be equal. in conclusion, a lot of people have courage but Benazir Bhutto has the most.

In I am Malala a lot of people show courage like Malala’s dad. Malala’s dad shows a lot of courage by staying in Swat and not running away like everyone else while the Taliban try to take over. “At night our fear is strong, Jani, he said. But in the morning, in the light, we find our courage again,” (65). This shows that he has courage because he believes that at night the fear is very strong because at night that’s when the Taliban strikes. But in the day they all have to find the courage to rise again and find the good things in this bad situation. In conclusion, Malala’s dad shows a lot of courage by staying in Swat.

Courage is something that someone has the wit to do. It’s a sense of bravery. Malala’s father has a lot of bravery/courage and will stand up to the Taliban. This is because he wants what is right and he won’t stop till it happens. On page 52 Malala’s father sends a letter to the newspaper that says,” Please don't harm my school children, because the God you believe in is the same god they pray every day.
You can take my life, but please don’t kill my schoolchildren.”
I think this quote supports my claim because Malala’s father will accept if the Taliban take his life but he wants his school children to stay alive. This is important because Malala’s father is risking his life by keeping the school open. It takes courage to stand up to the Taliban and that is what he is doing. This is why Malala’s father has courage and bravery and wit to stand up to the Taliban. This is what he does and nothing will get in his way.

Courage is an important trait to have. Something special is that all of Malala's family has it. Her family shows it throughout the book and how they go against the Taliban. Courage can change the world in many ways. "Please do not harm my school children... you can take my life, but please don't take my school children," (page 52). This shows that malala's family cares. Her dad said that they can take his life but let the kids be free. This shows courage and empathy because he will do anything for his school kids. It is important to be like this because many people will appreciate you for what you do. All in all it is important to have courage because it will change lives.

In this story it says,"Sir, the school you are running is Western and infidel. You teach girls and you have a uniform that is un-Islamic. Stop this or you will be in trouble and your children will weep and cry for you . . . Please don't harm my schoolchildren because the God you believe in is the same God they pray to every day. You can take my life, but please don't kill my schoolchildren."(Page 51-52) This quote shows the claim because the father directly defied a threat on his life. The quote is important because it shows how much courage her father had to share to the world how he directly ignored the threat. In conclusion, the father is a very courageous character in the story.

One quote that shows this is "The Taliban had threatened my father. Now I was afraid. My father replied to the Taliban the next day in a letter to the newspaper." This shows courage because he is writing back to the Taliban. He knows that if he writes back he is putting his life on the line. Even though his life is on the line he realizes this is unfair and he is writing back for peace and girls rights. In conclusion Malala's dad shows courage because he writes back against the Taliban for all girls rights.

Courage is a very important character trait because it could motivate other people to take steps to fix problems that people would normally try to avoid. An example of courage comes from Malala's Father when he wrote a letter to the newspaper stating, "Please don't harm my schoolchildren... you can take my life, but please don't kill my schoolchildren," (Page 52). The fathers courage helped some people see that you can fight back for your right. The father was congratulated by neighbors for being the first to step up against the Taliban. He showed courage by saying they could kill him as long as his schoolchildren were not harmed. As you can see Malala's dad shows a lot of courage through out the story.

.

Malala and her family are showing courage by going against the Taliban, fighting to go to school, and fighting for Swat. Courage is important because it develops leadership and tells others that specific things are right and wrong. Malala’s father sees a letter threatening the school on pg 65. “ Please don’t harm my schoolchildren” “ You can take my life.” People started to see if one person can fight back others can too. This shows how courage is shown throughout the book.

Courage can be shown in big or small ways. Benazir Bhutto showed courage by coming back to Pakistan when the Taliban were targeting people who spoke out against them. “As a woman, she was a role model for girls like me. And she was the only politician who’d had the courage to speak out against terrorism.” (Pg 54) The quote is an example of courage being demonstrated in a big way because by returning she was putting her life at risk to help other people. Through this action, I have learned not to be afraid to speak up for myself and others. This has helped me in my life by showing me that I can have courage for not only myself but my friends and little sisters as well.

Being courageous takes a strong heart and a steady mind, standing up to the face of fear for the sake of the greater good. Malala’s mother shows the bravery and courage to stand up and defy the very thing that threatened her and everyone around her, the Taliban. She fights for what she believes no matter the cost, alongside her husband and the family she must protect.
"My father, a simple principal, was taking on the two most powerful and dangerous forces in the country. And my mother was standing by him." (49). The quote shows that Malala's mother is brave enough to risk her own life and whatever rights remained because her husband, who was going to speak against the Taliban, was doing something risky for their family. And she was standing beside him, defying the Taliban by protesting with her husband even though it could have gotten her killed.
Often times when we hear of something going on in the world we turn a blind eye, we don't think we can do anything because we don't have the power. But we all do, and Malala's mother made this very clear, by doing the very thing that could have ended their family. They went against the Taliban.

Bombs, Sucide Bombings, Shootings, school attacks, and the Taliban. These are all threats Malala faces in her everyday life. Malala is a role model and a leader and shows Courage by going to school everyday even though people are dying and getting killed in the street. “Every day, Fazlullah’s men struck a new target. Stores, roads, bridges. And schools. Most of the attacks were outside Mingora but they got closer. And closer.” I found this quote on page 63 in the chapter 2008: What Terrorism Feels Like. This quote represents my claim because is shows that all these attacks are happening and Malala is still going to school. She is showing a lot of courage by going to school even when all this horror is going around in her life. All though this is happening Malala continues to go to school everyday and speaks out against the Taliban.

In the book, the father also shows courage because he is taking a stand for all of Pakistan. For rights to education and by offering his life for children that are not his. On page 52 it says, “Please don't harm my school children, he wrote, because the God you believe in is the same God they pray to every day. Well if you have or if you haven’t it feels amazing to just ask them, Why? Why are you doing this and just being a total jerk. Well, in the book I am Malala, Malala talks about how she is worried for her father because the Taliban are hurting people who stand up to them, and her father is standing up for Malala and other girls, that the Taliban even sent a death threat. "Sir, the school you are running is Western and infidel. You teach girls and you have a uniform that is un-Islamic. Stop this or you will be in trouble and your children will weep and cry for you” (51). This quote supports my claim because Malala’s dad is standing up for what is right.

We all have courage somewhere inside us. But not all of us know that we can stand up for what is right. Malala is one of the people that always knew that she had the courage to stand up for someone or something. Malala demonstrated courage in many ways during her struggling time with the Taliban. Malala truly showed courage when she decided that she would be the secret person who would write the diary for the BBC. "I was only eleven, but I said, Why not me? I knew he'd wanted someone older, not a child. I looked at my father's hopeful-nervous-face........ He suggested that I use a fake name so the Taliban wouldn't know who was writing the diary." (page 76-77) This shows how courageous Malala is because at this time she was only eleven and she wanted to risk her life for Pakistan and her father. She was and still is willing to have her life taken away for a little girl that wanted to go to school. That is what I want to see in every person. Everyone should be able to go to school no matter what.

Courage is shown in many ways. It is shown at many different times. In this case courage is shown in scary dangerous times for Malala and her family. Malala is courageous in many different ways in the book. “It wasn’t always possible to attend, between the bomb blasts and curfew… But if the school opened its doors, I was there, ready to spend time with my friends and learn from my teachers,” (pg. 60). This quote supports my claim because Malala was courageous to go to school even though schools were being blown up close to her home. There were also bombings always going on and even though she was scared she still wen’t to school. This shows that Malala was not going to give up on getting her right back to go to school. Malala is a very courageous person and she shows it in the book.

Courage is a character trait that many character have in this story. Malala shows this by standing up for women's rights and going to school when the Taliban said you can't. "Here was a Talib with a machine gun just inches away from my face," (pg. 51). This quote supports my claim because a Talib was standing in Malala's face while she was just trying to play a game and go to school. She stands up for woman's rights even though people threaten her and try to stop her from doing it.

Courage is a strong thing, it shows how people stick up and stand for what they think is right and everyone’s opinion matters. Malala’s father shows courage by still opening his school although the Taliban are strict on no girls being allowed to go to school. “Fazlullah, meanwhile, kept broadcasting his sermons. Girls should stay at home, he preached...why was a school building such a threat to the Taliban?” (ch.10 p.62-63). This quote explains my claim because it shows how Malala’s father’s school is still opened, but the Taliban don't like this. Later the Taliban start bombing schools for girls but Malala’s father has the courage to keep his school open to girls and rebel against the Taliban. Therefore Malala’s father defies the Taliban and fights for girls to have the rights to go to school.

For example, “Please don’t harm my schoolchildren, because the God you believe in is the same God that they prey to every day. Also, because he wants to keep the school up for the children’s future. His courage has shown as he is still alive.

Courage saves lives, people should always be courageous. Malala’s father has shown lots of courage so far in the story. In the story he says, “Please don’t harm my schoolchildren, he wrote, because the God you believe in is the same God they pray to every day. You can take my life, but please don’t kill my schoolchildren,” (page 52). This shows that he is courageous because he is unafraid to die for his students. He will make sure that they will stay safe, learn and go to school. He is always protecting his and his friend’s children and he wants everyone to stay safe and go to school because it is their right. He is also going against the Taliban, in which barely anyone has done so. He is very courageous for doing that because he never knows if he could be killed. It is always important to be courageous because you never know when you can be a hero.

Courage is something not everyone posses. Luckily Benazir Bhutto shows courage in full force. Courage is a very strong trait to have because if you're ever feeling scared about something you can get the inner courage and stand up to whatever you're scared of. "There was one ray of hope – Benazir Bhutto was returning. The Americans were worried that their ally General Musharraf was too unpopular in Pakistan to be effective against the Taliban so they had helped broker an unlikely power-sharing deal." (pg.65 on pdf.) This quote shows that she has courage because if everyone is so happy that she's coming to Pakistan it means that she's courageous. it shows courage for even showing up to Pakistan. This shows Benazir's courage and that she is a great figure for Pakistan and girls in Pakistan should follow in her steps. Therefore Benazir is one of the most courageous people in the book.

Showing Courage - By: Elda Parodi It takes a lot of courage to stand up and demand for you rights. In Malala many show that act of bravery but Ziauddin Yousafzai (Malala’s father) stand out in his determination to stop all violence and live in peace. On page 52 malala’s father sends out a letter to the taliban, “Pleases don’t harm my school children, because the God you believe in is the same God they pray to every day. You can take my life, but please don’t kill my schoolchildren.” This letter demonstrates courage because he is sacrificing himself for the safety of his students. Ziauddin is showing everyone that if you speak up you can set an example and many will follow. If Ziauddin didn’t go thing then malala would never have the courage to speak up about girls education.

Courage is a gift people can have. In the book, “I am Malala” the family shows courage throughout the story. In the words of the Taliban, they said, “Sir, the school you are running is Western and infidel, it said. You teach girls and you have a uniform that is un-Islamic. Stop this or you will be in trouble and your children will weep and cry for you.” This is showing us that the Taliban is threatening the Dad and he has no idea what could happen. The quote is important because the Dad is getting threatened and he still is running the school and ignored the threat not caring. In conclusion, Malala’s Dad shows courage by willing to continue running the school even though he got threatened.

Although many characters in the book “I am Malala” show courage, the one character that takes the crown for this is Malala. In Pakistan at this time, it is illegal for girls to go to school, so Malala is breaking the law just to have an education. According to page 89, “My friends and I were a little bit scared as we made our way to school on that first forbidden day…” This quote shows that Malala was understandably scared to go to school on a day which doesn’t allow girls to go to school at their age. Malala is being courageous and brave because of this. Along with that, they are attending in secret, so if a member of the Taliban discovers this at any time, serious consequences will be involved. This is why malala is the most courageous person in the book, “I am Malala.”

As a person, I don’t relate to Malala at all, but at heart, we are just both typical teenagers. According to page 11, “I am Malala, a girl like any other- although I do have my special talents… I think Bella from “Twilight” is too fickle, and I don’t understand why she would choose that boring Edward.” Although as a teen I don’t relate to Malala, this quote can prove that she is just as normal as a girl living in the United States. She gossips, watches TV, (which almost everyone can relate to) and just lives her life as a teenager. Overall, I don’t personally relate to much to Malala, but a typical teenage girl surely can.

One character trait that Malala and I have in common is that she is her own person. She doesn't care about what anyone else says. She doesn't care about what anyone else says. She will keep fighting till there is a solution. On page 83, it says, “ They cannot stop me. I will get my education. If it is in home, school, or anyplace. This is our request to the word- save our schools, save our Pakistan, Save our Swat.”
This explains the claim because everything is getting in Malala’s way but she keeps on trying. The Taliban gets in her way but she stands up to them. Somethings with get in my way, but a solution will always come around sometime. Malala and I are similar because we both never stop until the problem is fixed.

(92)" This shows that I am not like Malala because she said this on a TV interview, being bold against the Taliban. It does inspire me she can do that, however, because if she can do it, we all probably can.

'You already have lots of problems, and we are already doing lots for you.".......... But I understood his words. The education of girls was far down on the list of issues that Pakistan faced.......... Besides, buy now I knew: Just to get on TV and speak on behalf of girls' education was half the battle. The other half still lay ahead of us. And I would keep fighting." (page 102) I am related to Malala because I believe that fighting for women's rights is something that everyone should do. I think that Malala should fight not for just girls' education because there is other more important things that women and girls are struggling with. That is how I believe that I am similar to Malala. What about you?

I also have two siblings that annoy me but I also have fun with them whenever I can. “Even though my 14 year old brother annoys me to the end. I don’t fight with him.” (p. 12) This quote supports my claim because Even though my siblings annoy me to the end. I don’t fight with them physically. When my brother nonstop annoys me I might yell at him but I won’t punch or push him. Malala and I are similar in some ways, but different in many ways to.

Malala, who is a very brave speaker and activist against the Taliban and promoting freedom is getting to overcome the Taliban. The Taliban doesn’t care if they kill anybody so Malala could die any day. Malala shows a lot of freedom and bravery by speaking out against on how girls and everybody should have freedom and I agree with her. I believe that everybody should have freedom and be brave. “ We planned an assembly where we would make our speeches; we called it a peace rally, but it was just going to be a bunch of us upper- school girls.” I found this in the Chapter called a “Chance to Speak” on pg. 70. This quote supports my claim because it shows how Malala speaks out and becomes brave and how she is speaking out for girls to have rights and go to school. I am like Malala because I agree that everybody should have rights and count equally and have a good education. Even though Malala is spoken out against the Taliban words are still stronger than guns.

I don’t really like to speak out against people even when I think something is wrong. “But I wasn’t done. I added,’ I’m not afraid of anyone. I will get my education. Even If I have to sit on the floor to continue it. I have to continue my education and I will do it’.” (Yausafazai 92). I think that this quote shows how much Malala cares about her education. It also shows that she is not scared to speak out against people just as long as she is helping fight for people who feel they don’t have a voice.

But, she is a teenager and has a lot of traits similar to mine. Malala loves watching T.V, playing sports, and playing board games. As shown here “I got the idea from Shaka Laka Boom Boom, the show Safina and I watched after school.” (pg.25) this quote shows that Malala loves T.V and it shows that I’m similar because I love watching T.V with my family and Malala comes home every day to watch it with Safina. Malala is a common teenager going through hard times but she is a normal teenager like me loving to watch and do teenage things. In ending me and Malala are similar in many ways.

"I always liked to give interviews because I knew how important it was to speak for girls' rights," (82). This shows that she is bold because she wants to speak up for girls right's she wants to make a difference in the world. I like to stand up for what's right to like i like to stand up for my friends, family and other people. This shows that me and Malala are kinda similar.

School for me wasn't the greatest when I was younger, so I never liked school. Another way that I'm different from Malala is the fact that I never had to wear a uniform when I went to school. Lastly I have never been as brave as Malala "I'm not afraid of anyone, I will get my education. Even if I have to sit on the floor to continue it. I have to continue my education, and I will do it. (92)" this shows how brave Malala is and when it comes to school me and Malala have our differences

Malala is an average teenager that just wants to go to school but cannot because of terrorism. Malala is very similar to me because we share opinions on certain things. "I am Malala... I don't think dark chocolate should be called chocolate at all... but I love pizza... I don't believe in fighting-even though my fourteen year-old brother, Kushal, annoys me to no end... We argue over the TV remote. Over chores. Over who's the better student. Over who ate the last of the Cheesy wotsits. Over whatever you can think of," (Page 1-2). This shows that Malala is just a teenager like the rest of us. She tries to live a normal life by going to school. She likes to watch tv and play different games like cricket, and I can relate because I play dodgeball, waterpolo, and watch tv. As you can see, Malala and I are pretty similar.

Malala has experienced terrorism, as schools in her country were being bombed. In conclusion, I am different from Malala as I have not experienced terrorism.

Malala always stood up for herself and other girls. She was determined to change the Taliban and fight for women's education and rights. She knows what's wrong and what is right, and what the Taliban did to women was very wrong. On page 55 it states, “As everyone around me cried, I kept my secret. I told myself, ‘I will continue this journey of fighting for peace and democracy in my country.’ I was only ten, but I knew then that somehow I would find a way.” she knew then that she would make peace and stayed determined to do so. I am unlike that because I don’t stay to my word often times and won’t put myself at risk, Malala did and for me that’s amazing. Malala is so strong for going through what she did at such a young age and helped so many people, she could do anything with her mindset. But she is still a regular teenager doing what she likes and that is something I can relate to.

All of us have felt that little spark of irritation or determination when someone tells us we can’t do something we’ve always wanted to do. Some people go along with being told we can’t do it, but me on the other hand? I go ahead and do it anyways, and it’s traits like these I share with the girl who changed the world: Malala Yousafzai. "Besides, by now I knew: Just to get on TV and speak on behalf of girls’ education was half the battle. The other half still lay ahead of us. And I would keep fighting.” (102). The quote shows that Malala and I share something similar in mindset because she wouldn’t give up for what she believed in, and instead keep fighting for it. I can relate to this because I’ve been through a few situations that sound like her’s, such as my still ongoing fight to not have my figure skating team shut down. She knows that girls’ education is worth the fight in the end, like how I know my team is worth it in the end as well. In short, yeah, in some ways we’re similar. But in others, she’s much braver than I ever could be. But, we both fight for what we think is right and we won’t stop until we get our point across: and it’s all for the sake of what we love.

When you think of a teenager at any age what do you think they do?Play sports, watch tv, walk their dog? Well, those are some of the things certain teenagers do, but not all teens are the same. There may be certain qualities that are similar but no one is ever exactly the same. In this case, I think that I have some qualities that Malala has, but not even close to all of them. In the book I am Malala, Malala shows her bravery numerous times and they all have an impact. For example, "I always liked to give interviews because I knew how important it was to speak for girls' rights," (82). Malala shows a lot of bravery because in her current condition, there are grown men with guns, and whips who aren’t afraid to use. If they think someone is doing something against them, they will hurt or even kill them. Malala is going against them because she is standing up for what is right, and that is girls education. In conclusion, if you think something is wrong, then you need to find a way to change it, or make it better.

I am different from Malala because i would have had the mind set that I am just a kid what can i possibly do. But we must remember she is like you and I, she goes to school and has friends she wants an education. “I loved school, and all I cared about were my books!” (page 97). One way that Malala and I are different is that she is very brave. One page 92 she says that “I’m not not afraid of anyone. I will get my education. Even if I have to sit on the floor to continue it. I find I am like Malala because I have the same general interests as her. We both like to hang out with friends, watch tv and many more things. “ We hadn’t spoken since our fight but she was still my best friend,” (ch.16 p.103). The quote shows how we are the same because we both have small conflicts with our friends but still know we will always be friends with them. It shows how just like every other teenage girl she has conflicts and knows how to solve them. Therefore Malala and I are more alike then we think.

Malala and I are both normal kids who have many things in common. For instance, we both get in conflicts with friends. "We hadn't spoken since our fight but she was still my best friend." (pg. 103). The quote shows her getting in conflicts and I can relate to that because I get in some conflicts but the person is still my friend. But the fact that she gets in conflicts with people and they still are her best friends is crazy.

She hates the Taliban just as much as I hate losing a basketball game, etc. She also gets into fights with friends and family and even random people. "Moniba and I hadn't spoken since our fight just before the last day of school, but she still was my best friend," (pg. 103). Everyone gets into fights and eventully they resolve the problem. She stills calls Moniba her best friend even though they fight. The fact that their friendship has stayed the same through all these years is insane.

I would also ask her this because I want to know how Malala can be that brave. That is just who she is. That is who she will always be. I ask this because it is a terrorist force that is known for bombing, killing, and beating. I also want to know why she values education so much. I want to ask this question because she treats it as if it is her own life, if school ends, she acts like her world is over. I also want to ask the question on how she can deal with all of this travelling and constant speaking. I ask because she can barely have time to be in her own home and school with talking and travelling.

If I could talk with Malala, I would ask her what it’s like living in constant fear of being shot or bombed. I want to ask this question because it’s interesting and sad, and I do not know what that feels like. I would also like to tell here that she should keep doing what she is doing. I would tell her this so that she does not stop fighting for rights. I also want to ask her what her life would’ve been life if she had not pursued this path. I would like to know this because all we hear about Malala is how she is fighting for rights. We do not know what would’ve happened in Pakistan had she not fought. In conclusion, I have many questions I would ask Malala.

I would want to know this because if I got a death threat against me I would go insane. Another question I would want to ask her is; Why do you think girls education is a bigger priority than winning the war and stopping the Taliban? One thing I would like to tell you is thank you. I thank you Malala because you stood up against the Taliban, you got an award named after you, and you are the youngest person ever to win the Nobel Peace Prize. I would also like to say you are very brave. You are brave because you snuck into school without anyone noticing. You also stood up against the Taliban with multiple speeches and a blog.

I would ask her this because kids her age don't have to go through this and Malala having courage to sneak her way into school and back home without getting caught is insane. If I was in her situation I would want to run away and get far as I can. I also would like to ask her that question because getting a death threat is scary and not thinking of running away or getting to safety is something I would never do. Also Malala's dad has gotten a couple of threats to stop running the school and he still runs it without the Taliban coming to kill him. Hearing all these things about Malala's family is crazy and I can't believe they had to live there life like this.

If I met Malala I would ask her a lot of things, I would first ask Malala how she got the courage to go world wide with her stories when the Taliban is still out there trying to kill leaders? Also how can she be so peaceful when all this harrassment and war against women is taking place, how could you not hate them? Maybe you do hate them but you don’t want to talk about hate or show it because it is irresponsible and off topic. Also how did you gain the courage to speak in front of people that could also be terrorists in the crowd, and the terrorists watching it on TV? And also how could you be calm when you know the Taliban is trying to kill you, you haven’t lived to the fullest yet, all you did was just the beginning of what you can accomplish. You are the bravest person I have ever heard of and you did so much, you taught me not to live life in fear or cowardliness, but to live it cautiously and do what I believe I can do.

If I had the chance to speak to the girl that changed the world, Malala Yousafzai, I would practically be bumbling with questions I’d want to ask or things I’d want to say. But the question I would linger on and put the most stress on is the question of, “How can you not fear for your own life with a direct threat to you in the face of danger?” I’ve been curious how she does it, how she’s able to so calmly look upon a threat against her life and not react in panic. And instead of reassuring herself, she reassures her father, telling him that she won’t give up for what she believes in. I think this is an extremely valuable trait because most of us, even if we don’t want to admit it, would cower and give up if someone threatened our lives. But, this is not the case for Malala and she makes it evidently clear by not even flinching when she read that the Taliban wanted to kill her. Against all odds, she is braver than so many of us could be, and she’s an inspiration to all of us, the next generation, all over the world.

If I were to meet Malala today and ask her a question, it would be how much courage/confidence did she have to build up in order to do what she does. It's crazy to see an adult build it up, but it is unreal for a kid to do it. I would ask this because it would be useful in a situation where you have to stick up to yourself or others. Another question I would like to ask Malala today is what was going through her head when she recieved the death threat? Personally, I would be scared and want to run as far away from home as possible. Although I wouldn't do what Malala did when she recieved it, the skill could be useful still in different situations. For example, saying a speech in front of your whole class is nerve racking and learning that skill could keep you calm during it, instead of being so fidgety.

If I met Malala tomorrow I would ask her many questions. But the main question that I would ask her is how she was able to deal with having a death threat? Having a death threat is extremely tough to deal with. I am amazed at how well she was able to keep her calm and keep speaking out on what she believed. If I had a death threat I would not keep doing what I was doing but Malala didn’t care. She wanted to get her right and every other girls right to go to school. Even if she had to risk he life to do so. That is what I would ask Malala if I met her.

If I met Malala I would first ask her what it is like to know you and your father were always at risk of death. I would ask her this because the pain in knowing that wherever you go you are not safe, should be unbearable. This question also intrigues me because if I was in this situation I would have been very freaked out and leave my home country to be safer. While in Malala’s case we know that she is calm about it but she could have been really scared at some points. I would hate to think at every second of the day I could die or my father could die. That is the question I would ask Malala if I met her right now.

If I met Malala today I would ask her how did she really feel when she got targeted by the Taliban. I would ask her this because that is a very scary situation that not a lot of people have too go through but she had to so I would ask her that. I also love how she stays calm and cool in the scaryest situations like when a war was happening out side her house or when she had to hide her identity from the Taliban so she could go to school. I would also ask how did you have the courage to stand up to the Taliban even though they could have killed you.

If I could meet Malala I would tell her about many things. One thing I would want to ask her would be how are you not scared of having a death threat about you on the internet. If that happened to me I wouldn’t be able to live my life. Knowing that you could be shot dead at any given second just hurts me to hear that she had to go through something like that. Something that I would really want to tell her would be that her braveness is amazing to me. When she was just 11 years old she was willing to risk her life for the sake of girls education. She went undercover as a man just to advocate for Pakistan. She was willing to save thousands of girls education instead of saving her own life.

If I could go and meet Malala I would have a lot to say. One thing I would ask Malala is how she had the courage to speak against the Taliban knowing she is risking her life. Other people wouldn't say anything and give into the Taliban's wrath. Another thing I would say to Malala is that she is a great person for standing up for her rights leading other people around the world to do the same for their own rights. Lastly I would ask how did Malala so fearlessly take on the Taliban. I would ask her how did she stay calm and not get scared when she knew the Taliban were after her. Instead Malala used that as more courage and kept going. That shows a lot about Malala and how she is a strong willed person and how there aren't many like her.

If I could meet Malala I would inquire why she does not just move to another country instead of keeping her whole family in jeopardy. If I was in her shoes, I would just try to get out of there as soon as possible. That judgment made lots of additional risks. I also would ask why she did not care when there was a death threat on her. Lastly, I would want to know what it felt like to take a bullet. She has to be having PTSD and needed some psychological help.

Blog #3-Questions for Malala- Elda Parodi If I had the opportunity to ask Malala any thing I would ask her how did you overcome your fear of the taliban? Since you were around the age of 10-12 when you started to speak up for girls education and right what caused you to be so bold and outspoken. I thought you were very brave and fearless when you were thinking about what to do if a taliban tried to kill you. Your idea was very clever to use you knowledge against him and your final word would have helped people carry on your campaign for education. Another question I have is why were you not scared when the taliban treated to kill you? Any other yought child would have been terrified, but you were as calm as ever.

I would ask her how she manages to stay so brave with all of those death threats and Taliban being so strong ad influential. I would also ask her if she still thinks the magic pencil could still help her and Pakistan. The last question I would ask her is what she felt when she was shot. She is a true inspiration to me and if i got the chance to talk to her I would.

If I had the opportunity to meet Malala I would ask many things. Like how she acted and stayed calm about the threats and killings of political leaders, the bombings of schools, the gunshots her family hears at night. I would also ask how she thought about the Taliban threatening to kill her and not letting any girls go to school. Another thing I would ask is how you’re so brave? At the time you're probably at the age of ten to eleven. Next, I would ask how your family felt while you are fighting against the Taliban and fighting for your rights. Those are my questions if I had the chance to talk to Malala.

If i were talking/giving a speech with Malala I would ask her “When you first saw a death threat against you, how did you stay calm in that kind of situation” because anyone in the right mind would be petrified if faced with a death threat by the Taliban. So how can a 12-15 year old not be frightened by a death threat despite her young age.

If I were to meet Malala, I would ask, Why is school so important to you. Why would you give up your life just to go to school, face the Taliban, who kills people, just to go to school. plus shes around 11 years old. I would also have another question and that is How Would you react if someone said they hated school. would she be mad or not react. The last question that I would ask is are you risking your life for other people or just for yourself and why. This is what I would ask if I met her

By Avery Shellow If i had the oppurtunity to talk to Malala i would ask her what life is like living in fear. I would ask her if living in fear makes you prepared for whats coming if it makes you stronger. Living in fear is a big thing though. In life when you live in fear you dont know what its like living without any worries. She has to get to school and back from school without getting harmed or hurt and she just has to be scared and go with it. Therefor thats why i would ask her what life living in fear feels like.
