This is an example of metaphor as she is not actually shinning. Bazzi is trying to say that the women in the song is important to him.

This is an example of a metaphor as Bruno Mars is comparing the girls to masterpieces. Even though in reality girls can't be truly masterpieces, Bruno Mars is implying that the masterpiece is the girls being good looking.

This is an example of a metaphor as my room is being compared to a war zone. Since war zones have a reputation of looking decimated, I compared it to my room to imply that my room was very messy.
