2. The children enjoyed using the app and loved the "voice recording" function. It was thrilling for them to hear their voices played back to them. I introduced musiclab to wrap up our inquiry project. The children were learning about emotions and one of the numeracy concepts that was reinforced during the inquiry project was on shapes. Therefore, the children wrapped up this project by drawing facial expressions using shapes on music lab — which also comes with a melody accompanied to their shapes so the children created a "happy dance". I compiled their videos together on iMovie to document their dance & drawings too.
2. My initial plan was to get children to work in groups of 2 or 3 to draw on one canvas. However, it was difficult for this collaboration to take place because musiclab has a limit on the number of strokes drawn.
