Romeo is clearly one of the two main characters of the play Romeo and Juliet. Romeo main role was falling in love with Juliet. Romeo and his friends were rebellious when they snuck into Juliet's celebration and eventually met her that night. He is the son of Lord and Lady Montague and cousin of Benvolio.

In the beginning of the play, Romeo's primary emotion is very sad and down because of his split with Rosaline. He believes he can never find anyone as good as her and as beautiful as her, but his friends insist she won't compare to the other girls. He doesn't want to go to the party either. After his friends pushing him to, he finally goes to the party even after he had a bad dream about going to the party.

In scene 4 Romeo and his friends begin talking about going to the party and then agrees to go to the party. Once he gets to the party he lays eyes on Juliet and is instantly in love. He finds a girl more beautiful then Rosaline. In scene 5, Romeo is talking about seeing Juliet and is obsessed now. The effects on the other characters is that Juliet now meets Romeo and also Tybalt was angry that Romeo and his friends had showed at the party.

My piece of multimedia is a meme that basically is saying Romeo goes from heart broken to ready to marry in a very short period of time. The meme shows the immaturity of the two teens. They are not really understand the concept of love. Romeo acted bipolar with the way he changed his feelings so quickly. In conclusion, the meme is a way to joke around about how quick Romeo's feelings change. "I take thee at thy word. Call me but love, and I'll be new baptized; Henceforth I never will be Romeo." 2.2 49-51. The lines show that he is immature and is loving a 12 year old that he just met and is showing relation to the character evidence.

A quote that encompasses the character over text is, "Come cordial and not poison, go with me to Juliet's grave; for there must I use thee." His primary emotion is he is very depressed because his true love is "dead" or so he thinks. Juliet took a drink that made her seem dead for around 3 days. When Romeo found out he was heartbroken and when he went to where her body was he had a dual with Paris.

5.1.80-86

In act 5 scene 1, Romeo kills Paris, sees Juliet dead, and end up killing himself.
Text that supports this, "Hath had no power yet upon thy beauty. Thou art not conquered. Beauty ensign yet is crimson in thy lips and in thy cheek," That quote is Romeo when he finds Juliet dead but she really isn't. Also, "Here's to my love! O true apothecary! Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die." That is the last thing Romeo says before he kills himself." The effect on Romeo is that he kills Paris and himself. The effects on other characters are that Juliet wakes up and kills herself after she sees Romeo dead. Also Paris is dead and the Capulets and Montagues end their feud.

My picture is showing the death of Romeo and the sadness Juliet has because of it. Romeo was so heartbroken over the fake death of Juliet that he killed himself with poison. Juliet woke up and saw Romeo and couldn't live without him so she attempts to poison herself too by kissing Romeo. It doesn't work and that makes her grab his dagger and stab herself. "Yea, noise? Then I'll be brief. O happy dagger! This is thy sheath; there rust, and let me die." That is when Juliet was about to kill herself.
5.3.93-95
5.3.119-120

Romeo's actions do have a large effect on their actions. There emotions drive them to do actions rather then thinking and being smart. The teenagers think they are in love and end up killing each other over their love. In my opinion, the emotions of Romeo did not change. He started sad, and ended sad and ended up killing himself. He was sad over Rosaline and then was sad over Juliet. For a very short period of time he was happy. The greatest consequence that Romeo had was killing himself. The lesson the audience should learn is think before you do and also don't let your emotions get the best of you.
