         <description><![CDATA[<div>NAMI Hawaii is a National Alliance Mental Illness support organization. This organization is offered not only on Oahu but all of the islands as well. They offer 10 different support programs which are family &amp; friends, family to family, family support group, connection: recovery support group, peer to peer, basics, ending the silence, hearts &amp; minds,&nbsp; faithnet, and home front. Each different program offers various seminars on how to support that person (pending on which group you take), learning opportunities that are led by trained people, tips, diagnosis, treatment plans, strategies, self-care, community resources, free e-books, advocating, and more. This resource varies in helping all ages. Most of the programs are free as well. NAMI also does 1k and 5k walks to help bring awareness. Lastly, on the website, there are free resources such as journals, articles, PowerPoints, fact sheets, resource sheets, plans, and more.
