Our Universe is a series of Cause and Effect relationship. Where does God fit here?

why god?
~God is merciful and caring and he loves us
~God is our creator
~God knows what's best for us
~God is the truth


why have we given up on god?
~we don t have a good relationship with him and we treat him like an appendix
~whenever we are desperate and need help we forget about him because we can only feel love physically not spiritually from the Lord himself so we tend to not think of him.
~we tend to think that god doesn't answer our prayers
~the world moves very fast-paced and we tend to forget about him during harsh times
~

is religion true?
~yes
~because it is the truth and our belief
~we only trust in the truth and the truth of God

is faith a thing of the past?
~yes and no
~faith is about believing in what happened in the past (how the world was created, Jesus' stories, events in the bible etc.)
~it is also about believing that got has a plan for us in the present and future 
~its an ongoing thing
~we still pray and worship God 

is it reasonable to believe in God?
~yes
~if you love someone it shouldn't be based on if its reasonable or unreasonable, since God has helped us in life we should love him back
~the fact that this world exists should mean that it would have had to created by someone
~God has unconditional love for us and he created this earth 

what is science?
~science is discoveries made by mankind
~science cannot tell us the reality of what faith is
~a study to prove that things on earth exist
~the main cause of why people don't believe in God as it makes it easier for us to make sense of and believe in instead of religion like Christianity
~observations and experiments


what is faith? 
~faith is something we cannot live without
~we need faith in order to find God and true happiness in life
~having faith gives our lives meaning
~our trust in God
~if we don't believe in him it shows we do not trust him
~an intangible thing 
~our relationship with God
~how much we communicate with him

~God wants the universe to participate in creating
~no matter what we do in life, ultimately God decides good and evil, whether we go to heaven or hell
~in the end, God has a plan for us
