There are always important questions we try to answer throughout our lives which determine the human beings we are and we would like to be. Try to portray yourselves through a question that relates to you and your own answer to it.

Hi, there is always a question in our life which needs to be answered and my question has always been :"Why?". I remember when I was a teenager

witnessing some of my friends succumbing to cancer and others to drugs, and seeing so many people suffering. It was a scenario that overwhelmed me, and I began my quest for answers. I read extensively, thinking that the solutions to my questions could be found in books. However, I soon realized, as Kafka wrote in one of his novels, that, 'At one point, I didn't understand why I didn't receive answers to my questions, but today, I don't understand how I deluded myself into thinking I could ask questions. I wasn't really deluding myself; I was merely inquiring.' (« Un tempo non capivo perché non ricevessi risposta alla mia domanda, oggi non capisco come potessi illudermi di poter fare domande. Ma non è che m’illudessi, interrogavo soltanto. »)

In conclusion, I've come to realize that we can continue asking questions, and life itself is the answer. Not life in general, but our own lives with all that they imply.

The question is 'What is a dream I would like to achieve in the future?' The answers to this question are so many because growing up I want to accomplish a lot of my dreams. Well one of them is to travel around the world. I love learning about the lifestyle of other places, seeing sights and getting to know the stories behind of each one and also to meet new and different people from me.I would really like to be living in a country different from my own for a period of time so that I would be able to learn the above I said. I actually have a few years to wait before i can go to trips alone, but I'm looking farward for the time to come!

If I were a question I would be this one: What can I learn from difficult situations?

Everyone in their life has lived challenging situations because that's part of our existence. In my life I lived periods that made me believe that isn't worth fighting or even living. My past was very challenging, especially for the distancing of my father from the family. Since he left me, I suffered a lot because I was not raised by the man i should consider my father. So for this reason I began desperately searching for acceptance and affection out of the family, in strangers that I considered friends, but after many delusions I understood that I didn't have to, because the strenght lies in family ties and in myself. So I understood the importance of staying alone to discover myself, grow and find my true self.

Furthermore these and other vicissitudes didn't bring me down, indeed everyday I try to be better than the previous day, because the difficulties help us to be stronger. The difficulties are also an opportunity for growth resilience and learning something new from life. ("Nothing happens to you, but for you" Joel Osteen)

In conclusion, I have realized that in life there must be challenges, to improve ourself everyday and if you think that you're not strong enough, you can always count on your family!

This question represents a lot to me, as I have been trying to make the best choices in my life since I was little. During these years I have understood that I made some of these choices to make the people dear to me happy and not because I really wanted to make them. I therefore ask myself whether it is right to also please the people around me or just follow my own path. there is probably no correct answer and in fact I think I have to do a mix between these two perspectives.

When evening comes, I ask myself what I have done during the day to help all the people close to me, to relieve some of their efforts and reward them for what they do for me every day. Every morning I wake up with intentions that I often can't keep, due to time, because I don't want to work hard, even though helping others always gives me a sense of happiness. So every day I ask myself: "What am I doing to be a better person, the man I dream of becoming?" I meditate, I think back on my actions to understand the mistakes and to become an ever better person.

The only question that is constant in my head is "am i making a good choice?". This question follows me in everything: school, relationships and even in my daily routine. Maybe it's because i'm a very rational person and because i trust more my brain than my heart, but i always find myself in this sort of pivot where i have to analyze everything. I think it's a good question, it helps you to understand what you are actually doing, which are the risks and what you can get by choosing one or another thing. You know why? Our lives are full of chances. Everyday we get a chance to do something and a choice of catching or not che chance. But even if it is so relevant, the question "am i doing the right thing?" is the reason that stops you from doing something important, so i think that it also must be used with cautiousness in order to not regret anything.

If I were a question I would be " who do i want to be". Every day through our actions and gestures, we truly define who we are, much more than we could express in words. Many aspire to become successful individuals, young millionaires, or men with enviable careers. My desire, however, is singular: to become a person of value. That's why, in everyday life, I strive to be as kind as possible and attempt to become a better person internally, seeking peace within myself and trying to empathize with those around me. In conclusion, I've realized that in life, I want to be a person of value, with strong moral integrity.

If I were a question I'd be "Who am I?". I think that life can be surely seen as a journey, and particularly as a process in which everyone discovers, step by step, every facet of your inner self. I am personally experiencing this, and sometimes it feels awful because you strive to know yourself, but everytime it's the same, and you just can't overcome it. It's frustrating never reaching the goal, meant as the complete acknowledgement of your identity: it seems like a constant and impossible run to an identity that we're not even sure to ever achieve. Knowing yourself it's important because once you know who you are then you feel overall more secure and determined in your actions, and you are actually happier.

My life is guided by fundamental values such as honesty, compassion, perseverance, personal growth. Dedication and determination push me to overcome challenges, while personal growth for me is a continuous learning and evolving. If I set myself a goal I will do everything to achieve it and I won't listen to people who tell me it's impossible. Would I have a pet? Which could be its name? What would it be like to live near my grandparents and be able to see them every day instead of seeing them a few times a year and hoping to see them again as soon as possible? I know that my parents moved to Italy because they wanted the best for our family, but being away from Albania makes me feel bad.

Anyway I’m happy of my life but this is a question which I will never have an answer to, I can only imagine how it would be.

I’d like to think that I would be even happier than I am, because I could eat my favorite foods everyday, I could hug my relatives everyday, I could go to the see whenever I want because I have a house in Albania near the sea. I imagine I would have a little dog and a little cat because in my Albanian house I have a big garden.

Either way I think it would be amazing to live in Albania.

But how can people continue to live indifferent to the bad things that happen to them? Some problems are simple to overcome, you just need to have some skills to be able to solve them, but in these days the most frequent question I ask to myself is how can I solve a problem that the only way to solve it is to be patient and wait? Well there is no solution to everything i guess... maybe the right way to react would be to "make your peace" (ITA: mettersi il cuore in pace) ?

What I'm doing these days is waiting for some chance to find enlightenment or for something else to give me the answer, in the meantime the only thing I can do to don't waste any more time is try to solve all the other problems, which are now simpler.

If I have to look inside my past and identify myself into a question it would be: "What's the truth?". What I try to do everyday is to overcome appearances and understand the real truth behind what happens in my life. Life is a long journey and it follows a path. During this path we discover many things and we achieve them in our backpack of experiences. These thing aren't always easy to find. Sometimes they are hidden and to find them out we must ask ourself "what's the truth?". If during our journey we had been curious enough at the end we can say that at least we got closer to the truth. Otherwise we took our journey without enjoying the scenery.

If I was a question I would be “What’s the world?” Well as a kid I’ve always looked at the world as something huge and ambiguous. When I was thinking of it I couldn’t describe it or even imagine it. Growing up I realised that we humans create what we call “the world”. Strange isn’t it? The answer to this question was so much simpler right? Well that is not partly wrong. At the age of 12 when I started to realize the society that we live in I begun wondering. I wanted to learn even more about the world and humans. I became interested in learning.

I remember asking myself again and again the exact same question “what’s the world” I tried to search about it on the internet, in books, in the knowledge of older people nothing satisfied me though. “ Well maybe there is no answer “ I was thinking. Later on the realization hit me in the head strongly as a brick. The world is the reality: the humans and they’re creations, the bad and good, the war, the peace, the bonds, the memories, the sea, the forests , the fire , the water and mostly is what reminds as of love. For example, my friends and family are the world to me because they remind me that when I’m around them I don’t need anything else to feel happy. What’s more, people also believe that the word “world” is related with astronomy. It could be. It might be. As I was understanding the environment around me I realized that I wanna make an impact to the “world” Whatever that is. I was always an artist either that was painting or poetry, music or even theatre I would always find myself doing something like that. Later on I discovered the art of writing and reading. Philosophy, classics , poems , biographies everything that could get me closer to the human mind and their perspective of the world. In the future I wanna be known like Shakespeare or Claud Monet or even Mozart was for my impact to the humans around us. Drawing was always my passion. I could do that for hours so maybe that could be my impact. Believe it or not learning about what we call “the world” made me wonder many things. One of them being “If the world is so important to us why do we keep destroying it?” I always had in my mind the wars, the destruction of the environment , the political disputes and why some people have more rights than other even though we are all humans and are in this earth for the same cause? Many different thoughts but so many different answers. Thoughts that will always lead to the same question “What’s the world?”

Although we strive to achieve an objective understanding of the surrounding world, we are limited by our intrinsic subjectivity. Each individual perceives reality through the unique filter of their own experiences, beliefs, and prejudices. Thus, our interpretation of reality can be distorted by these subjective elements.

"What is your purpose in life?"

As an individual, you are a traveler in search of meaning and whose path intersects with others in unexpected and meaningful ways. Every encounter, every connection, is like a page in your book of life, contributing to your personal epic. Consider life as a novel, and you are both the author and the protagonist. Your purpose is the plot, weaving through chapters of growth and self-realization. Picture your life as a canvas painted with the hues of discovery and challenges. Each stroke adds depth, and every color tells a story. Your purpose, then, is the masterpiece emerging from the artistry of your journey. It is not a fixed destination but a dynamic journey, a dance with the ebb and flow of time. Think of yourself as an architect, who builds the foundation on which the structure of your life will stand. You are like the North Star, which guides you when you are lost and when everything seems obscure, illuminating the path of self-discovery.

In essence, your purpose is a mosaic of moments, emotions, and authenticity.

The question is "Whats the meaning of life". The meaning of life is a subjective and complex question that has intrigued philosophers, scientists, and thinkers for centuries. Some argue that it's about finding personal happiness and fulfillment, while others believe it's tied to spiritual or religious beliefs. Ultimately, the meaning of life may vary from person to person, shaped by individual experiences, values, and perspectives. It's a journey of self-discovery and purpose, where each individual seeks their own path to understanding and making sense of existence. For me, if i understand the meaning of life during my lifetime my time here on earth will be more meaningful. I would be able to do what im supposed to do and not to go blindfolded. So during my lifetime i will try my best to find the answer to this big question.

The most important thing in life is to ask questions. A question I often ask myself is “What will I accomplish in life?” Every time I find myself questioning my future I feel fear. But why fear? We feel fear as a way to cope with our problems. I fear the future and what the future holds. Fear of not being able to accomplish my goals in life, the goals i have had since i was a child. One day I would love to speak as much languages as possible. For now I only speak three but one day I will speak many more. I learn languages simply because I enjoy it and I know for a fact it will help me with work one day. Who knows, I might even move to another country! But sometimes, it is extremley hard to be consistent with my studies. The people who surround me are very different than I am so I can get carried away very easily. Although I am very thankfull for the life I live today, i wonder what could’ve been if i have done things differently in the past. Can the past ruin the future? Patience is the only way we can find the answers to our questions and when the time comes, we will see what life has to offer.

If I were a question... well, I would be a sentence. Life in it of it self is a complicated thing to examine. My ambitions are hard to see at first glance, so I am going to try and find them through the beafore mentioned question. I am currently 14 years old attending a language gymnasium. I like learning new languages, but that is not why I am here. One day I wish to become a Historian, I wish to uncover the secrets of this country and its people. Besides my educational path, I also want to have some success with swimming. I was born by the sea and I want to embrace that. How far any of this is going to take me, I shall see.

So one question that pops up immedietly in my head is "What question would i be?". Through my daily life i have so much questions that pop in and out of my head. Sometimes i get the answer to a question and from it another 20 questions pop up. But because i have to pick one it would be "Where will my life take me in the future?". I am often thinking about my future, sometimes i even get into it so much i stress about things that'll happen in let's say 5 years. I often think about my past too, i have a strong sense of nostalgia and it often makes me cherish the past and go back in time. Sometimes i think about my past mistakes too but i try not to beat myself up for them but rather learn from them and keep moving forward. So i would say i'm trying to find a balance. I think i'm on a good path right now and i'm curious to see what will happen in the future.

If I were a question I would be this one: who I actually want to be in my life ? The answer that I would probably give is: The main character. I think everybody is the main character in his own story. And for sure all the stories are different from each other. But sometimes I feel like I don't know the role I play in my life. This might sound like I don't have goals and I'm the most unorganised person in the world. But in reality I just have the fear that I will regret my choices even though I know exactly what I want to be. Maybe that's the problem. I know what I want be but I don't really know who I want to be . So, I feel like the purpose in my life right now is to understand the meaning of my existence .

"As we all know, technology has already become a big part of our lives, especially for young people. The prevailing ideologies to this day, are that technology brings conveniences to society, and in my opinion I think that's true. But, has anyone ever thought about how fast technology is evolving? Unfortunately, no... I feel that the world in the future will be a world without life, because it will depend and survive ONLY through technology. Has anyone ever wondered if the emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) is already a concern and a fear? This would be a total destruction for the planet.

"What is it like living the life of a human being?" Through the centuries the style of human life has changed dramatically. Only in the past three centuries there have been major differences from the multiple languages and their forms, to the piece of clothing people wear and to the jobs they do, politics, arts, education and pretty much everything. With all these things changing, among them being human rights as well, some questions have stayed the same. "Why does this all happen?" "What's the meaning of it all" "Why" Or questions similar to them all.

People, most of them at the beginnings of their adulthood years, start questioning the world around them. Other people's feelings or way of thinking, may or may not seem very mysterious to them. They question it, trying to figure out why do people make such choices, use specific words or have a different mindsets than themselves. Most find the answers they seek for, something that covers up all of their questions and makes them feel like they belong to this world.

Others, for better or worst, get even more confused, they keep ask themselves more questions and instead of answers they just gaining more and more questions. I, myself, am one of those people so therefore I must say more to it. The human mind seems too hard to understand sometimes. Some people often find it hard to fit themselves in, to gain the feeling of belonging somewhere, to find their purpose in life. Some of them do find that purpose, and they fight and fight till they achieve that. Other meet the end without knowing still.

From my point of you, if a person has no purpose, then they have no reason to exist. Without goals and dreams there is no reason to be. Thus i do believe people with no dreaming are different than most. I am not saying they are any less human than all others but they do find themselves feeling different, inhuman in fact. Lack of emotions, or even misunderstanding one's true self can cause more difficulties to the person in question, with it all not only bringing more and more of those but also some mental issues or even making a person mentally unstable.

Most of the greatest examples have been noticed through history and art. Unfortunately the only arts I know of are literature and poetry so all examples I can give are from so. Personally I'm only interested in works from the 19th to the 20th century so all examples are from these years. Great authors like Osamu Dazai (1909-1948), Fyodor Dostoevsky (1821-1881), Ryūnosuke Akutagawa (1892-1927), but also poets, one of them being Chūya Nakahara (1907-1937), wrote many works, some more famous than others, about human feelings and human psychology in general, works that can make people feel too relatable to the author's writing or feel understood for once. One book that many people with this kind of problems relate to a lot is "No Longer Human", in my opinion very relatable indeed.

I do think finding something to make you feel less alone, like you are not the only one different than all others, can help to a great amount. But, returning to the main question, as I've lost my point into this writing, I do believe people who feel the slightest inhuman cannot quite answer that question. If a person thinks their thinking or their emotions differ from others and they do not share the same mindset with them, they do not feel like they live a so called "human life" nor know how to deal with it. They mostly seek the answer on "what is wrong or just different with them" with their only or at least biggest goal to find and understand that.

To add to that, I shall speak about myself more, because after all that is the point in all this writing. I do feel like one of those people I talked of in the previous paragraphs. I find myself unable to to answer the question of what it's like to live such life as I have to understand myself better to find the answer to that. Being a 14 year old kid still I know I have many things to experience before I finally am able to to answer correctly. Answering now would not only be false to my liking and ideals but also strongly wrong. Moreover, I am not completely sure if this exercise will be taken as mistaken or wrong, or even if it will sound crazy to most but it is truly the way I view this matter and the world in general.

(P.S. If you know me irl we don't talk about this pls)

I never really had any thoughts about this subject until now and I’m still not sure if it’s the right answer. But I think the question I ask myself the most is „What is the main purpose or goal in my life?”. Since I was a child I always had different goals and dreams and they would change very often, obviously. But recently I realized the only goal I wanted to achieve in my life was being happy and positive. My priorities have always been school and my family, and obviously myself and my happiness. Its hard to always look at things in a positive and optimistic way but its very important to try. Being a kid, I always thought money and a wealthy life would make me the happiest, but growing up I realized it took way more than just material wealth to achieve that. I met a lot of new people and friends in the last few years, and it made me realize a lot of things. I met some people who had the things I could only dream of, but the problem was, they were still unhappy. That made me realize that the only thing that could make me happy is myself and my own mindset. I have always been grateful for everything I got in my life, but I feel the most proud and grateful for my mind and the way i percieve the world. I think it is very hard to gain the inner peace we all deserve but the point of life is to keep trying.

I wanted to know reasons for everything that was happening around me. As then, I often find myself asking the same question for almost everything. When something bad happens in life I always ask myself ,,Why?’’. I just want to know why it has to be that way and why are bad things happening. Nobody can answer me those questions. It’s hard for me to just accept something and move on when I don’t know the reason for that.

Ioannis Gian. 1st Lykeio

Kalamatas, Greece

If I were a question I would probably be: “How do I want to be remembered ?”

The asnwer to that question differs for each person. Personally, I would like to be remembered for my manners, my values and my contribution to society. I would like to leave behind me a legacy built by my personality and my actions. Leaving this world I want to have made my loved ones and those who supported in me proud. So, everyday I work hard towards my goals because I want when I leave to be calm and satisfied about my achievements and my actions
