I absolutely thought this book was very funny and creative! The author completely revamped the traditional concept of the "Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf". The book also has a very interesting twist as to how the wolves are able to get away from the Big Bad Pig. Jan Brett being one of my favorite authors, this book would be appropriate for elementary readers. This book is engaging and allows for readers to recall events that took place in the story in sequence. I like this book for sentimental value, however in reading it again there is a very important lesson taught in the story. It can also be viewed to have a social-emotional concept as each character blames one another and lack proper communication. I like this book because although it is an all time classic, it teaches a very important lesson even in today's society. It teaches how to better manage time outside of watching TV. As elementary as the Berenstain Bears can be, I would recommend this for middle and even high school as well. Not for the level of reading but more for the lesson hopefully learned.
