Yes, i believe that people are judged on the way they talk. I kinda find it a little mean, because maybe the person isn't as well advanced in grammar as someone else is.

Based on how I talk (I think I talk like aaaaaa.... Wow, a know-it-all..? I guess..), looking at it from someone else's or someone who I'm talking with's point-of-view,  I guess I could seem more part of the upper/middle upper/middle class(es(?))... I like to talk in a more mature way, even kind of around people I'm close with/family and friends, because that's just how I talk...
