Types of Engineering (Intro to Engineering):
Each member of the group chose a field of engineering that we found interesting, before researching further, and then decide if that field seemed like a career path we would like to follow. The point of this assignment was to look into which field of engineering we would like to try for in the future. The reason I wanted to share this piece might not seem quite clear with how much of a mess you must think it is, but I’m deeply proud of it, as it shows that my group can get their work done, and have time leftover for joking around, but always getting our work done first.

Borges Socratic Seminar (English 2 Honors):
This assignment included note taking and the summarization of 2 poems by Borges, a Socratic Seminar between students, and a reflective writing. The target of this assignment was to find the meaning of the provided poems, discuss those ideas, and then to reflect and improve upon yourself. I did my best to explicate the poem and share out those opinions. I found it most challenging to get my thoughts out during the discussion, although I did meet my goal of sharing around 6 original ideas, but I can always improve upon myself, and be more confident in sharing out.

Weekly Writing Prompts (English 2 Honors):
These were writings that could be based off of 10 prompts given to you, and you must have done 2 of these every week. The target of these assignments would be to help develop and improve your writings, and in my opinion I’ve accomplished that goal, with positive changes in my writings. The works I’ve provided show a clear improvement in my writing style over the time we’ve done these writings. The reason I’m proud of these writings would be that they show an evolution in my style over the time we’ve done these assignments.
