It's a sunny beautiful August morning. I have trouble waking up yet it's 12pm. Just as I finish getting dressed there is a knock on the door. I think to myself the time has come. I step outside to see something all too familiar. A grey toyota camry with a dead give away on the side. Carr's Driving School in big bold letters. Today is my third and final day of driving school. Two hours from now I will have accomplished an amazing feat of expressing driving skill to be rewarded with my permit. We start driving around, the usual. Then I hear the worst news ever. "Time for parallel parking buddy." says the driving instructor. Great I think to myself. We get to an empty parking lot, set the cones up and I begin. Three tries at it is all i have. First try not so well, second try much better, and finally I get it perfect. Now, since I finally got this over with I begin driving home. As I arrive I'm relieved to be home and done with it. After I park the instructor grabs the magical paper that means a lot. My permit. He hands it over and my eyes widen in excitement, it has a golden shine to it in my eyes. It was a great day.

It was just your average sunny yet chilly April day. I just got home from school and I was heading to the gym on my blue 1995 moped, my prized possession. I'm cruising along listening to music down Rue ave. I was going as fast as possible to get to the gym since I was starting to get cold. The most nerv racking thing to see behind you, the infamous red and blue flashing lights. I pull over on the side of the road. After waiting for the police officer to come over for a couple minutes that felt like an eternity, the officer finally arrives. "License , registration, and proof of insurance." He demands. I cooperate. After a quick pause as he inspects my information, he asks "so, what's the need for going 50 in a 25." After a brief moment I, myself was shocked to know this. "Oh jeez, I didn't realize I was going that fast." I state. "Ok, I'll be right back." He says. As I wait for him to return, I think to myself my parents are going to kill me. He returns with my $180 summons and I'm on my way. After that I was much more careful and paranoid about my speeding.

The day I've been anticipating for months. January 19, 2018 to be exact. It was beach vs. boro wresting match, the most hyped up day of the school year. During the day I had butterflies in my stomach and I couldn't think about anything else in class. The final bell of the day rings, I feel the heat of the hype. After weighing in in the locker room we flood onto the bus in silence. The two minute ride there is quiet, very quiet. We arrive, the tunnel vision sets in. My heart races and so many nerves run through my body. Some time goes by, the pit starts filling up and is the loudest I've ever heard yet our team sits in silence, not moving a muscle. Before I know it every seat in the gym is taken, completely packed.
